I would like to hope that any codexer who rates Oblivion above Morrowind would, at the very least, be given a dumbfuck tag and probably publicly humiliated in a site feedback thread as well.

Not really. He reviewed Witcher 2 but said he wont do that with next game since it would mean more money for books author.

I discovered him a long time ago and completely forgot about him until now. It's uncanny how much he looks like Spoony. I don't care about his opinions but I don't really like the stupid rapid speed delivery he is doing coupled with using big words for no reason. GODFUCKING SPEED I REMEMBER IT SO YOU DONT HAVE TO!!!11

It's just mediocre rambling most of the time and it's kinda hard to listen to because he doesn't know how to present himself properly, instead he just uses stupid metaphors for everything.

You can almost picture his mum coming in with milk and cookies, prompting him to redo the video, I bet my ass it happened at least a couple of times.

Nevermind his content, this guy seems very eloquent and witty (though try hardishly so) even with out a script. Most of his methaphors seem very shoehorned in his video reviews, but looks like he can come improvise that stuff on the fly, which is impressive.

I was actually surprised he maintained all his big words and metaphors in that interview. Great job and fun video. I dont know who Vince Russo is but I cant help myself, I like razorfist. He's like an edgier spoony :)

I think that if he
a) didn't try to be so edgy all the time (I'm not talking about trashing game companies, but telling people to go fuck themselves if they haven't played game X etc)
b)toned down the verbal acrobatics and unnecessary metaphors (so it didn't seem like he was trying too hard)
c) made actual game reviews instead of rapid speed slide shows (because I really need to see some censored gay porn gif every time he makes an allegory to something being gay)
he could be great. I don't care what kind of game footage it is, just download some long plays from youtube and narrate on top of it. I really don't see why he needs to copy Yahtzee and Extra Credits in the whole slide show thing since he obviously can use real game footage and often does.
Add in more consistently codexian taste and even most codex members would probably tolerate him.

Its the end of console gaming!

Because the consoletards finally stopped being afraid of computers.

No reason to buy a console if there are no exclusives and consoles are becoming expensive wanna be PCs with loading times, installing games etc (while PC gaming is becoming easier and more affordable). And the casual audience is attracted to phone/social games. PC gaming overtook console gaming in sales in 2012 or 2013, and it'll likely stay that way if things remain the same.
Fixing console gaming would be very easy:
1.Go back to designing cheaper, more simple consoles that only function as game machines
2. Make proper console games that people have been begging for years and stop trying to compete with graphics by making interactive movies that are shit ton more expensive to produce (which also means catering to casuals because you have to sell 3 million copies to make any profit).
I don't see where the logic is in forcing a guy like Keiji Inafune to make a kickstarter campaign to raise a few million dollars for a new Mega Man game, when the same companies aren't at all reluctant to throw hundred millions dollars at garbage like Watch Dogs or that Heavy Rain sequel. Though the same thing happened to PC gaming.

There's some free advice that's been on the internet for years, could've saved Sony and Microsoft billions of dollars. A second video game crash isn't that unlikely. I certainly hope for it. Seeing how Nintendo have fucked many things up over the last few years, whether they could resurrect the business for the second time is becoming more questionable.

He hates Obsiidan. Regardless, I would hope they wouldn't waste time on minor-NPC dialog trees even if they had 10 years to make a game.

A second video game crash

The video game crash only happened in America. In Europe gaming was kept alive by home computers. In fact, consoles only started arriving to America circa late 80s, and their impact was relative. The problem with people who like to think about this is that they don't realize the "crash" was only a small crisis in one market, and it does not represent the state of gaming in the world during those years.

This should cause some butthurt or debate at least.

I didn't notice, but we also see he is still butthurt about us in the credits of his Elric video.

Right at the end, "Resented by RPG coder"

High verbal IQ doesn't equal intelligence and or knowledge. Hurr durr like that thing Lyric Suite was talking about.

I think we are in a situation now where people who have the talent or willingness to spread their opinions on the public don't often really have the knowledge, where as those who have the knowledge don't have the talent, opportunity or willingness to do that kind stuff. Razor is infuriating because he is halfway on our side but he is also still partially retarded which makes his videos a continuous cock tease. This is a guy who unlike us is in a position to educate the unwashed masses but he rarely takes the opportunity. At least he is not apologetic about his conservatism which i suppose goes to his credit considering the type of business he is in.

I've enjoyed a video or two of his before but if he thinks Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Oblivion and Mass Effect are masterpieces and shits on New Vegas and Demon's Souls, well I just don't think I can look past such incredibly poor taste.

Also not a fan of him extensively excusing every DX game after the original, but at least they're playable once I guess.

Also he's another indoctrinated Thief hyper-tard that thinks it's the best thing ever. Best Stealth game, sure. Best Looking Glass game, get out.

A blatant contrarian with a thesaurus!

As pointed out in this thread, the guy can do that stuff on the fly.

Which only shows what i've been saying for a long time. Being good with words is not the same as being intelligent or knowing your shit.

Have you ever played a souls game?

Mass effect 2 is one of his favorite games. He likes the first ass creed purely because he thinks it's the only stealth title in the series.

All his criticisms against new Vegas are valid, it's just wrong that he ignores that the same problems existed in fallout 3.
