They figured they don't have to pretend anymore that they are not rehashing the same game over and over.

I wonder what exciting new ways they are gonna find to introduce a fuckton of DLCs for this edition

Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
It's at times like these that I actually am looking forward to some neckbeard basement dweller to lose his shit, grab his shiny +3 Assault Rifle of Kawaii from its sacred place on the shelf below the MLP collection, and go to [Insert most hated game studio here] and gun down the lot.

Why? Just to show game developers that they can't push out the same shit day after day, year after year.

If people refused to buy this shit, it would show game developers that they can't push out the same shit day after day, year after year. Since enough retards are buying this shit though, they obviously can. I can't blame the developers for separating idiots from their money, it's just too easy.

So they release the new game on last gen, and re-release the old one on current gen. Makes sense.

If I were a console gamer I would probably want my favorites re-released on the newer systems, especially now that they are never backwards compatible. I think the appeal there is pretty obvious, honestly.

That said, glad I'm a PC gamer.

I'll hold out for now. I bet Borderlands:3rd edition will be much much better. Nextnextgen will blow this current nextgen out of the water.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Heh, I activated my old copy on Steam to not bother with Securom and have multiplayer options. It's still best part in the series, The DLC's are cool, and the loot system is way better. Plus there are some nice custom maps like The Fifth Column. The only thing that was missing was travel hubs in DLC's, it's really boring backtracking the whole maps.

Even worse, the article suggests they should remaster Borderlands 2 (which is only 2 years old) instead:

What do you make of this? Would you re-purchase Borderlands with spiffier graphics and performance? Or would you rather 2K jumped straight ahead to remastering Borderlands 2?
