Brofists lead to one-liners because people like to get validation, and validation here isn't necessarily about making an actual good post. Not to say there weren't one-liners here before, but at least there was less circlejerking.

Sawyer would frown on the brofist and it's degenerative effect. :obviously:

Getting rid of brofists would increase the quality of actual discourse on codex. I really mean it.

Brofists are only the tip of the iceberg of decline Codex 2.0 went through.

I dunno I like Codex 2.0, it's more a matter of tweaking than tearing everything down really.
