Be it RPGs, MMORPGS or MOBAs, there is way too much of a shared target audience. Expectations have thus shifted accordingly. Unless communicated properly and very early on, like it or not?
It's to be expected this will occur. They have been taught that if it drops it must be "picked up". Period. Your both giving them drops and not communicating to them the difference/import of selective management is bound to lead into such issues.
Likewise with min-maxing, they think D3, or whatever shit they are currently playing, they just won't ever be willing to be told "you wasted time for ""nothing"", this is not an OP build". Even if you have provided for said "nothing". They won't sticxk around long enough to find it.
It's really sad if you think about..you could try be transparent, communicate this in some way from earlier on, and possibly hurt your sales. Or you could change your game to accommodate those people. Big risk. Or say nothing, and hope for the best. I don't see an easy way out;
But whichever you look at it, there is just too much of a shared target audience by now. As i said, different expectations.
I would criticise the retard saying "but D3 does it better, i don't like your style" one way.
And the potential buyer implying "no one told me" in quite another.
