Unsung Story, a Kickstarter which notoriously slowed down and never really regained its momentum, has reached its goal of $600,000 with just 20 hours left on the clock. As a result, it will not see releases on the PSV, PS4, and 3DS.

The mobile release is expected to arrive in 2014, while the PC/MAC/Linux releases are to arrive in 2015.

I'm not real familiar with console systems... but what programming languages are used to create PS and 3DS games?

They went full retard with so many high-end stretch goals straight out of the gate. You ain't Obsidian and you don't have Avellone working on your project. +M

They had Matsuno whose mere prescence should have raised the pledges massively (Was responsible for the initial high pledges)but the campaign was just that poorly thought out and it was revealed very early on that Matsuno has very little fo do with it. Basically, imagine if they said Avellone would be writing all of PoE and then the next day he said, "Yeah, I only thought up the concept, not doing anything else," and that's this Kickstarter in a nutshell.

Such a disappointment.

Good that it will get made in the end, will return to take interest after release.
meeting kickstarter goal is no guarantee of release. especially in a case like this where they were obviously expecting much more.

The backers seem to be less concerned with the delays than with the inclusion of PvP. If that's the only thing the devs will need to change to accomodate their new publisher, they can consider themselves lucky.
