VD is like Heracles. His time on the mortal plane as Codex leader had to end, but he apotheosised (or, to use Codexian language, he inclined).

Now he gets to spend time making good video games.

DarkUnderlord and the others keep the place tidy. Crooked Bee, Infinitron and Zed keep us well supplied with news posts, interviews and the like. If there's one thing VD did that we don't have any more, it is the sarcasm. CB is just too good natured. But we don't need a second VD anyway.
