PC version additional Features

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

General
• 4K support
• Stuttering/lag framerate optimization – We employed a fix that makes all controls much more responsive and less framerate-related. We’ve optimized resource creation, GPU VRAM upload and required VRAM for the game.
• No FPS cap
• Full SLI/Crossfire support at launch
• Multiple save file support – This feature allows players to have up to three auto save slots for three separate playthroughs.
• Multi-monitor support with borderless mode and advanced settings that allow for customized placement of menu and HUD.
• Multiple windowed mode options – Windowed mode with flexible/resizable windows, multi-monitor borderless.

Improved Graphic Features
• Screen Space Reflections
• Headlight Shadows – Support for additional shadows from car headlights
• Extra Details Options – Increases the level of detail for all objects in the game, and adds more details to objects in the distance.

Improved Graphics Options
• FOV sliders
• Pixel Density sliders
• Sharpness sliders
• Ultra Textures pack available at launch

• Anti-aliasing options:
o TXAA
o MSAA
o Post Processing Anti-Aliasing options SMAA and FXAA

Improved Keyboard/Mouse controls
• Full adaptation with mouse and keyboard
• We’re using raw mouse input to reduce latency and use the Windows hardware cursor throughout the game without any additional signal filtering to smooth or accelerate mouse movement by default
• Advanced keyboard support – Keyboard hotkeys for every menu and app for faster access. Additionally, all hotkeys can be remapped.
• Mouse-centric UI – Any UI screen, menus or smartphone app supports full mouse interaction, so the player can finish any UI task with the mouse only. Everything is clickable and has appropriate button states.
• Toggle/Hold modes for different controls (aim, sprint, walk, inventory, etc.)

Driving
• Driving has been adapted to suit the keyboard controls, with adjustable steering sensitivity. Same goes for driving camera sensitivity and auto-centering camera behavior

Gamepad support
• On-the-fly switching between mouse and keyboard to gamepad, without any additional options, UI will just switch to gamepad mode
• Supported gamepads: Xbox One controller, PlayStation 4 DualShock controller

The Watch Dogs 2 team also announced a new release date of November 29 for the PC version of the game. The extra time will be used for additional polish and will help ensure the game runs smoothly across a broad range of PC hardware.

Lol they are clearly trying to avoid mafia 3 launch whine :D

Pretty sad that basic graphics options are now a 'feature'. Also most open world games are shit, because they are open world games. Especially when they try to be a third person shooter and a driving game all in one half baked piece of crap. They should just focus on making one of those things and doing a good job of it. Even then I would be surprised if they pulled it off. But no, it will be some wonky cover based third person crappy shooting and then you escape to your dudemobile and have to flee through traffic while pressing shit on your virtual smartphone.

They don't have the ability or ideas required, that's why they cram these games so full of features and content. So the average popamole monkey who buys games like this doesn't realize how vapid, soulless, shallow, half-baked and shit it all is.

Previews are all positive, they say the character die fast so stealth is a must, city is good, missions are varied and many approachs, but jesus christ they all complain about the driving.

Is that hard to create a decent (not even good, decent) driving system in a open world?? :?

I don't get why they even make open world games like that anyway. People should just get a job as a courier, you get to drive across cities all day, with super realistic driving, and you get paid for it!

You need driving licence, which is expensive, and then there are some other problems.

Why buy this garbage anyway? By the time Ubisoft has patched this game to a playable state, Watchunderscoredogs 3 is already on the horizon. And at that point you can't play this game anymore, otherwise you don't have time to analyze all the spreadsheets to figure out which of the 396 collector's editions you're supposed to get.

Also most open world games are shit, because they are open world games.

Correction: most open world games are shit, because they are modern. Most open world games from the early 2000s were great, and of course old open world RPGs too.

I know it's an Ubisoft game and most of you need to say it will be shit just to follow the trend and be appreciated, but let's wait till it's released to judge

Why are people posting in this thread with any intent to play it at all? Posting in the thread is bad period, when we can be talking about more worthwhile works, but of course most of the codex wants to mock it which is understandable.

Yeah Krondor was uber. Fwiw I don't mind Watch Dogs 2, at least this series tries new stuff. Mafia and GTA went down the pan together. Watch Dogs and Saints Row get my bro fist for outdoing Rockstar at their own game. I liked Watch Dogs waaaay more than GTA 4 or 5.

10 secs at least, you mean. If you omit punctuation and actual thought (which a watch dogs thread does not deserve, granted). Paragraphs do not take ten seconds, and regardless that's still ten seconds that could be invested on more worthwhile works that deserve to be talked about.

Pathfinder: Wrath
Why would you wait until release to judge if you already know how it will play now?

Why would you comment on a thread about a game you didn't even consider at all since start?

Would you comment on a gay anal thread for the same reasons?

During the year or so you've been posting here have you mistakenly been thinking this was the RPGWatch?
