RPG section because I can't be arsed to play almost all of these titles (including F3 and F4).
Plus Codex Playground when you visit it once a month.

I like everything, but I find myself rarely posting in the RPG sections for a few reasons : RPGs are long games, and while it's my favorite genre, I'm WAY behind. I've only started playing PoE, still needs to play AoD, DD:OS, Dragonspear, Underrail and other codex favorites (or retro ones, like the Dosbox). The userbase is competent enough than whenever I catch up on a thread and feel I can bring some enlighthenment and decent opinion on a topic, said opinion or piece of info always appears just a couple of posts later.

So I mostly just post snarky one liners or random bullshit in other forums, but my heart belongs in GRPG and General Gaming nonetheless.

Given the fact that The Witcher 3 has established itself as the greatest game that ever has been and ever will be, I don't think it's as interesting to follow the gaming forums any longer. I'm mostly just being edgy on the politics forum & GD.

Underneath there is a real problem. For some years, almost all new interesting games that discovered didnt get mentioned in the Codex, or only marginally. I now have to browse the Steam catalog and watch youtube videos to stay up to date. Gaming magazines of old are not an option either, for obvious reasons.

In an ideal world this site should be a gaming magazine where posters get credit for short reviews of interesting games. As it is I see it less as a gaming site now, if I am interested in a game I go to a site dedicated to that game. Although there is always that censorship problem that brings me back.

P.S. The forum that is the most interesting in that respect is the Codex public library, and I am proud that it was my suggestion.
