Why did Caesar want an alliance with the White Gloves?

I don't feel like creating a tumblr account just to ask this question to Sawyer.

When siding with Kai-zar, after dealing with House and the Boomers, he'll tell you to go forge an alliance with the White Gloves, and yet the only rationale he gives for this decision is because they were once cannibals. After getting told no by Marjorie and Mortimer, you can then go back to Caesar to say you tried, shrug, and move on. So why is this there other than padding out the critical path by pointing you to a potential quest? The White Gloves just prepare fancy food, they don't really do anything of strategic importance. The Legion steamrolls through New Vegas perfectly fine without the alliance, and moreover, they already have one with those drug-running Omerta gangsters. It'd make more sense for him to point you in the direction of their quest (where you can choose to do it or not).

Anyway Caesar doesn't seem all that concerned about how quickly those three tribes agreed to become tourist attractions. :M

Evil factions gotta stick together

also:

They want you to go do Beyond the Beef in case you missed it because it's good content.

The White Gloves are the odd ones out when playing the other factions. I think in one of my playthroughs I never actually met them. I think when you go for Yes Man all of their content is optional, can't remember the other factions from the Strip right now but apparently you had to deal with the others one way or another.
Lore-wise, I really don't know. Perhaps they are the ones who are most consciously resisting the "conversion" attempted by Mr. House, this could mean they are the least affected by him. Under Caesar's logic, making them join the Legion could help to remove their degeneracies in a more effective manner.

Because both are evil factions and they wanted players going all Caesar's Legion to be steered towards that content. They just failed to give Caesar an excuse for it.

The White Glove Society is just an over the top based on a silly cliché (the all fancy and elegant ones that are hiding a barbaric past). They don't really have a purpose themselves - design or lore-wise - so it's no surprise that Caesar has no reason to want them as allies.

When you meet them, the White Gloves aren't evil. You have to corrupt them yourself.

The Omerta content is mandatory for House and NCR, optional for Yes Man, and not brought up at all for the Legion. The White Glove content isn't brought up by NCR and House.

Under Caesar's logic, making them join the Legion could help to remove their degeneracies in a more effective manner.

Caesar wants you to convert them back to cannibalism, which is pretty degenerate imo.

Wasn't a lot of Legion content cut? Maybe it's an artifact from a larger cut quest to convert the families back to their tribal ways, get them loyal to the Legion, and help soften up the Strip before they take it.

I've always wondered how much better this game could've been if they had a full three years to work on it.

They can rebel behind enemy lines at a crucial moment.
Pretty much this, I mean the allies worked with the french resistance for D-day. Allies behind enemy lines severing supply lines/sowing confusion or at least expending their lives to occupy some of NCR's fighting forces would be a good thing regardless of how effective they actually were. It's a win/win for Caesar as he could just easily mop the floor with them later should they survive.

Sure they do. Design - another example of the new world being remade in the image of the old, another place to gamble, host to the most complex quest in the game. Lore - another themed tourist attraction for the kind of people who find Gomorrah and the Tops unappealing, covering lowbrow, midbrow, and highbrow tastes.

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
I'd imagine the posh casino is the one that attracts the most NCR higher ups at the Strip, so it's handy to have allies in that sort of place for totally mean wasteland antics.

That or Caesar really wanted a properly prepared steak.

If I remember correctly, Caesar wants the Strip families to rebel against NCR/House rule in his favour, Omerta are already in his pocket, you're supposed to blackmail White Glove into serving him and nothing regarding Chairmen cause game not finished + shit writing.

Doesn't explain him warming up to the Khan's which aren't evil, just your typical independent, willful tribals which reflects the games allusions to them as being latter day Indians of a sort.

Everyone is a distraction for the breakthrough, the less people aligned with those resisting them, be it NCR or House, the easier the conquest. Remember, Caesar's hope is not to slaughter and devastate, he seeks to take NV and the NCR intact as much as possible to ensure his long term plans maximum chance of success.

The Khans' reward for helping Caesar is being forced into the slave army and having their culture crushed. And then (if allied) he leaves the Boomers alone because he's afraid of them.

That's my point, not all of Caesar's potential allies are evil because he only allies with evil for evil's sake as is alluded to above.

Caesar is 55(is that old?) and your mod gave him lentigos that would fit a 70 year old more. Also I'm not sure what being 'hardened' has to do with complexion.

All in all it looks awful.

Your hurt my feels. Anyhow I just finished removing almost all graphic replacers from my game, since I was getting annoyed at how the game looked.

There are four big casinos. One is Courier's property since you have to remove Mr House. The Tops's leadership is beheaded after Benny's defeat. Caesar is already allied with Omerta.
So there is still one independent casino. Once they are cannibals they are both grateful to Caesar because he allowed them to "see the light", but they also can be blackmailed.
