What is this "typical modder" bullshit? Is it because they get all emotional when it comes to their "creation"?

I think it's pretty normal human behavior. I mean they spend hundreds of hours working out of passion for games with no monetary gain. Of course they are going to get emotional about their work, won't you?
And unlike most of us who just bitch and bash, they actually contribute to the "incline". How many thousands of hours of gaming we enjoyed because of mods? They try to make things better for us. I'm not saying kiss the feet of any modder, but "typical modder" sounds like some ungrateful shit.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
From what I saw the Codex just hated him because he felt strongly about anyone being too critical of his creations. Maybe the codex could have appreciated his efforts more to provide free changes to a beloved classic. Maybe CyberP should have known what he was getting into when he started using da fuckin' codex.

His mod was good, but he shitposted in any and every thread he could find about how people should be downloading and playing his mod because it was the ultimate incline. He (deservedly) got a Typical Modder tag and when he (predictably) went apeshit DU decided to have a little zerotol-style fun with him.
