I didn't touch it either except back then when I originally stickied it. I'm immensely butthurt that the thread that I stickied due to its epicness got retardoed.

Be smart boys and make all links to restricted threads forward to payment pages for unlogged and new users. Like paid premium content on all the trendy sites :smug:

Srsly though, it was probably the most historically important Codex thread ever, and, as unlikely as that may be, not just in the "trololo equip the ring plane tickets kingcomrade" way. So, how much did Brenda pay you, DU?

Now would be a good time to move the thread back to a sensible place.

Why would we want to do a thing like that?

Why would we want to do a thing like that?
Because the Codex is a prestigious magazine with interest in gaming history.
We have felipepepe receiving massive amounts of brofists for writing articles criticizing the industry for its disregard for its own history, while the Codex does the same thing.
Corporate publisher X makes game Y unplayable by shutting down the servers.
Codex powers make the bestest thread in internet history unreadable by moving it to Retardo.

Why, that's like saying that moving the Mona Lisa to a museum makes it unviewable.

If it was a private museum only accessible to a certain members, it would be a good analogy.

Perhaps the publishers didn't really make those games unaccessible, they have just moved them to an archive.

The obvious solution is for felipepepe to write an article about why Sir Tech went bankrupt.
