"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Would an admin please read this? No harmful reaction against anyone

If any admin has taken the time to read this:

Is there any way for my account to be a normal account to post?
(As in, being able to post and having everybody be able to see the posts I make)

Apparently, I can't even send PMs (conversations) to anyone.

Thanks,

A member of the RPGCodex

Be aware that first posts of a popamole nature have been known to be delayed in the moderation queue for arbitrary amounts of time. +M

1. "This Post is Awaiting Approval": Due to a long history of not being able to keep out people who have been banned - people who continued to register and re-register accounts with multiple different proxies - all new members must pass through a moderation approval process before they are free to post. This means that for the first couple of posts, every post a new member makes needs to be approved by a Moderator or Administrator before they are visible. We accept this will stifle some people's participation but feel it is worth the risk.

Once you've had a handful of posts approved (IE: You've proven that you're not someone we just banned or that you're not just a spammy adbot), your account is upgraded to "Codexian" status and you are free to post without approval being required.

As this approval process relies on a certain amount of discretion and oversight (the Moderators need to make a judgement call when they approve your post), it may mean that some posters have trouble getting through. While we're not after a magnum opus, we do advise that you'll have better luck if your first foray into the Codex is of a more extensive nature than "lol FemShep's ass lol".

Really, what's the point of having a manual if people aren't going to read it.

The same point it always has been, being able to point out to people they should have read the manual so they look stupid.

You can always create a tutorial subforum for popamole newfags who can't read

You can always create a text adventure for popamole newfags who can't read
