In the last update, we had just left the cave.

Screenshot166.jpg

And finally reached the fortress.

Screenshot168.jpg

We give those guys a friendly hello. Since we are finally outside of the ground, we can use Call lightning. Also, that spell Wizerella is casting? It's a fireball.

Screenshot170.jpg

We already cast Bull's Strenght and Barkskin, but we still have this. Animal's Rage. Similar to the Barbarian's rage, it gives a +4 bonus to strenght and constitution, +2 to saving throws, but makes you lose the control of the character while there are enemies nearby. Also a 5% chance he will go berserk and attack party members.

liz-1.jpg
- Sir Dwarfington, come here, I have one spell more to improve your combat abilities.

sir-1.jpg
- Well, alright.

Lizzie casts the spell.

liz-1.jpg
- How do you feel?

sir-1.jpg
- Normal, I guess. Did it work?

liz-1.jpg
- I think so.

Screenshot172.jpg

An enemy aproaches

sir-1.jpg
- Well, let's put it to the test. Let's... Let's... MURDER!

sir-1.jpg
- KILL, KILL! I'M GOING TO RIP THEIR SPLEENS!

Screenshot173.jpg

I cast Grease.

Screenshot174.jpg

And entangle.

Screenshot175.jpg

Some archer starts shooting us from off screen.

Screenshot176.jpg

I send Wizerella to deal with those.

Screenshot177.jpg

The other part of the battle is doing fine.

barb-1.jpg
- Is he really trying to extract that Verbeeg's liver with a hammer?

mort-1.jpg
- No, that's one lung.

barb-1.jpg
- Aren't the lungs upper in the rib cage?

mort-1.jpg
- I think that he perceived that, and that he's working his way there.

barb-1.jpg
- With a hammer?

mort-1.jpg
- Yep.

Screenshot179.jpg

A few more Magic Missiles to deal with that last one.

Screenshot170.jpg

Every enemy here is dead or on his way, except that shaman

sir-1.jpg
- I'M GOING TO EXTRACT ALL HIS TEETH, WITH MY SWORD!

Screenshot182.jpg

The last Verbeeg dies.

Screenshot183.jpg

The Shaman got entangled.

Screenshot184.jpg

And got dead too. You can see in this SS that Sir Dwarfington did aditional piercing damage to him. I think that the spell makes him grab the most damaging weapon he has at hand. I usually use a +1 Scimitar, because of the bigger attack bonus, but he also has a normal hammer that has a 50% chance of 1d6 piercing damage.

Screenshot186.jpg

He's not happy with killing that shaman tough, he wants to kill all his friends too.

Screenshot187.jpg

I might be wrong, but I think that I casted that dispell, to stop him going further and ending up dead.

Screenshot189.jpg

Anyway, I bring my guys close to Dwarfington.

Screenshot190.jpg

A sorceror appears...

Screenshot193.jpg

And dies.

Screenshot197.jpg

We come back to the entrance, and then go west, to find one of those.

Screenshot198.jpg

I use fire arrow on him, but it does not comes even close to stopping him.

Screenshot199.jpg

But the Call lightning does.

Screenshot200.jpg

With the half-goblin dead, those hobgoblins are easily dispatched.

Screenshot201.jpg

We continue exploring the fortress exterior. The exterior part that is inside the fortress. You know what I mean.

Screenshot202.jpg

Some orogs come to the aid of those orcs.

Screenshot204.jpg

An orc shaman. Those spellcasters sure are aggravating.

Screenshot206.jpg

That orc explodes. We have exploding swords, ladies and gentlemen.

Screenshot208.jpg

We kill a few more of them, but Dwarfington ends up charmed. And somehow paralysed too. And for the first time in this LP I wrote "paralysed" right in the first try.

Screenshot209.jpg

I even checked in google.

Screenshot210.jpg

Anyway, we heal Dwarfington, and kill the Shaman.

Screenshot211.jpg

And move the hell away from him, because he can pretty much kill any other party member, while charmed.

Screenshot213.jpg

We wait a bit, untill the spell is over.

Screenshot216.jpg

We go back there to loot the corpses.

Screenshot217.jpg

Then we come to the door of the interior part of the inside of the fortress.

sir-1.jpg
- I would like very much if once, at least once they surrendered.

mort-1.jpg
- Why would they surrender?

sir-1.jpg
- Why would they not? What would be the best answer if we knock on this door right now demanding they surrender?

sir-1.jpg
- "Despite that you entered my heavily guarded fortress, that my elite guards are nowhere to be seen, and that your weapons are covered with that suspiciously blood-like substance, I will still not surrender, and will fight you guys to see the end of evil my plans."

sir-1.jpg
- Or "I surrender, please don't kill me. Of if you do, have mercy and don't hack me to death or let that halfling stab me in the balls."

mort-1.jpg
- I'm not a halfling! I'm just short!

mort-1.jpg
- And, yeah, alright, it makes more sense to surrender.

And, the fortress is kept for the next update. Short one, I know, but I will try to post the next one soon.

Nice.
A very good game, fuck the haters. I haven't replayed it in years, though, and so get all nostalgic reading this LP.

(And it's actually easier reading shorter updates imho.)
Keep it up!

We enter the fortress.

Screenshot227.jpg

Two bugbears. No problem.

Screenshot229.jpg

After we deal with the bugbears, this fucker appears.

Screenshot231.jpg

He's tough.

Screenshot233.jpg

But it's five against one. Not THAT five against one, you pervs.

Screenshot234.jpg

In his corpse we find the key to the that door.

Screenshot236.jpg

As we open, we see that.

Screenshot237.jpg

Screenshot238.jpg

Screenshot239.jpg

Screenshot253.jpg

Screenshot254.jpg

Anyway, let's move.

Screenshot255.jpg

Here a hectic battle starts. Sorry, I did not SS the exact start, but this is pretty much it. Sent Mortimer to deal with that Orc Shaman. I was hoping for a sneak attack there, and to kill him quickly.

Screenshot256.jpg

No such luck, I guess.

Screenshot257.jpg

That bugbear in the middle is chasing Lizzie. A monster following a caster = Major source of pain in the ass in this game.

Screenshot258.jpg

That Tortoise Shell thing is awesome. And to think I never used it before the other two times I played this game.

Screenshot259.jpg

The guys affected made their save, thank god.

Screenshot260.jpg

Things don't look good, but my guys still have a lot of hp left, and at that point I was more concerned about my casters.

Screenshot261.jpg

I try this anyway.

wiz-1.jpg
- I shaved my legs this morning. And e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g else a bit upwards of them.

Screenshot262.jpg

It works. We have some reinforcements for now.

Screenshot263.jpg

But now Wizerella is a target.

Screenshot264.jpg

The Orc witch doctor casts web, which gives me the idea of casting Grease, which does not slow them down a bit.

Screenshot265.jpg

If you look at the text window, that's the third critical Sir Dwarfington had this fight. I think I got improved criticals, and he is using a scimitar, so he should critical 20% of the time. Not that much, because after the first roll, you have the confirmation roll, and that depends on the AC of the target.

Screenshot267.jpg

Well, now it's the time I'm fucked and I start casting everything I have that can kill those guys.

Screenshot268.jpg

3 fire damage! FUCK!

Screenshot270.jpg

What now?

Screenshot271.jpg

Well the Fireball damaged Lizzie, but we needed to weed those guys out.

Screenshot274.jpg

Running doesn't do much good, but no other options available.

Screenshot275.jpg

With my fighters stuck, it doesn't seem good.

Screenshot276.jpg

A Melf's Acid Arrow on desperation.

Screenshot277.jpg

I moved Wizerella through the web, and she thankfully made the save and the bugbear got stuck, as I planned.

Screenshot278.jpg

There's still that Orog Chief and Orc Witch Doctor to deal with.

Screenshot279.jpg

I don't know what spell is that.

Screenshot281.jpg

Since Sir Dwarfington hit him, he changed targets. Which is a blessing, because Lizzie would not last long.

Screenshot282.jpg

Finally this fucker dies.

Screenshot283.jpg

And THIS fucker too.

Screenshot287.jpg

We kill that charmed guy and patch up.

barb-1.jpg
- Have you guys noticed this fortress is well built and looks pretty solid?

sir-1.jpg
- Yes, how those stupid orcs and bugbears managed to put this up is a wonder.

Screenshot288.jpg

Screenshot289.jpg

Screenshot290.jpg

We retreat a bit...

Screenshot291.jpg

Because this room has a bit more space to fight, and I can see clearly if they changes targets.

mort-1.jpg
- Hey this was an actual tactical retreat, not just an euphemism for running away!

Screenshot292.jpg

Somehow Barbaric! and Mortimer got charmed and Hmm... Paniced? Horrored?

Screenshot294.jpg

Well, I cast dispel magic.

Screenshot295.jpg

Moving Mortimer... I wish the AI had a "run away if attacked" script.

Screenshot296.jpg

One script that worked, that is. The AI to adaptive fighter (melee or ranged according to the distance) used bows when I wanted the character to charge, and charged with swords when I wanted them to keep away.

Screenshot297.jpg

Anyway, with Guthma dead, and my fighters free, Mortimer is saved.

Screenshot300.jpg

And the enemies dead.

Screenshot306.jpg

We free this guy.

Screenshot318.jpg

The fortress is pretty much done. I'm just sweeping for stuff.

In Guthma's room, we find a scroll reading:

"Are you a villain in need of a place to impose power and respect, but all the constructing your henchmen ever did was shelter from the rain? You want an Iron Throne from which to rule over the blood stained conquered lands, but there's only wooden ones available to you?

Call us!

We have years of experience constructing evil fortresses and castles! We have thematic dungeons, moats filled with water, acid OR lava and our exclusive deal, trap doors with the ledges greased! Never have those pesky adventurers be saved at the last moment again!

P.S: We require payment upfront, and we don't accept money to be implemented when your evil plans come to fruition, nor lands yet to be conquered, nor slaves even if already conquered (we already have interns for that) as payment."

Screenshot320.jpg

mort-1.jpg
- What? Your cock room?

Ogre Cook - COOK room. But you know it could be my cock room if you wanted.

Ogre Cook - Our cock room.

The Ogre Cook winks suggestively.

sir-1.jpg
- I think we better leave you guys alone. You join us later, eh Mortimer?

mort-1.jpg
- WHAT? Stop joking, let's kill him already!

Screenshot326.jpg

Finding nothing more of interest, we leave.

Screenshot332.jpg

We rejoin the ranged at the start of the area.

Screenshot335.jpg

Screenshot336.jpg

Screenshot337.jpg

She gives us this. Might be useful.

Screenshot338.jpg

Yeah, yeah, Targos is saved. Hooray.

hooray-zoidberg.jpg

Screenshot339.jpg

We report.

Screenshot340.jpg

The SS is not cut out, the dialogue ends there.

Screenshot346.jpg

And, that's it folks. See you next update.

Good going :salute:

It's a very good game, too bad that I've already played it to death, otherwise I'd comment more :?

Nice, but could use more party banter.

Good thing, You're updating again.

It's easier when there are new things to talk about, new scenarios or monsters. On the caves and in the fortress, I struggled more to write the party banter.

Oswald - If the wind keeps up like this, we should arrive at our destination in a couple of days, at most

sir-1.jpg
- Argh... Why does it have to swing so much...

sir-1.jpg
- Two bloody days on this flying bathtub! I will have puked my guts out by then!

sir-1.jpg
- Speaking of which

sir-1.jpg
- Doubles over the side of the ship - BLEEEEEEAAARRGHH

On land:

Girl - Mommy, what is that?

Mother - What, kid?

Girl - Up there! Is it a bunch of snow? It's gonna fall on us!

SPLASH!

On the airship:

wiz-1.jpg
- Oswald, is that a storm up ahead?

Oswald - It wasn't there a minute ago! By the gods, it seems it's moving toward us!

Oswald - I will try to escape it, everybody, hang on!

Despite Oswald's efforts, the storm engulfs the ship.

Oswald - People, the ship ain't going to handle this much stress! Everyone grab something solid, we are going to crash!

mort-1.jpg
- WHAT? CRASH? NO, NO, I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE

mort-1.jpg
- Wizerella, show me your panties!

wiz-1.jpg
- WHAT?

mort-1.jpg
- Blast it woman! It's the last wish of a dying man!

wiz-1.jpg
- MORTIMER! Be reasonable!

mort-1.jpg
- I AM being reasonable, I know you can't pull your robe up to show your breasts without letting go of the mast!

CRASH!

Screenshot359.jpg

After the party wakes up:

mort-1.jpg
- I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!

sir-1.jpg
- Mortimer! Shut up! We already crashed!

mort-1.jpg
- Already?

wiz-1.jpg
- Yes! Now stop screaming!

sir-1.jpg
- Everybody in one piece?

Everybody reports to be still whole.

sir-1.jpg
- Let's see how Oswald is.

Screenshot360.jpg

Alright, let's get to it.

Screenshot373.jpg

Leaving the airship, we find this lot of spiders. They're a trash encounter, so I did not detail it here.

Screenshot376.jpg

Moving a bit upwards, we find this guy. It makes no sense at all that he is there taking rocks to the head and still able to talk. Either one rock should kill him, or he should be able to escape. But whatever.

Screenshot379.jpg

And here we find his attackers. Three giants throwing rocks.

Screenshot381.jpg

They hit REALLY hard, but don't last long under attack.

Screenshot382.jpg

Last one.

Screenshot384.jpg

Those bugs keep appearing. There's a nest of them, we're going to take care now.

Screenshot386.jpg

We go back, following the bugs that appear and killing them.

Screenshot388.jpg

Until we reach the nest.

Screenshot389.jpg

And we destroy it.

Screenshot392.jpg

We explore a bit, in the direction of the guy that was being hit by the rocks.

Screenshot394.jpg

mort-1.jpg
- IT'S THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN!

liz-1.jpg
- So what?

mort-1.jpg
- Isn't he a mythical creature?

liz-1.jpg
- No, he is a rather common critter.

mort-1.jpg
- Really?

liz-1.jpg
- Those boots you are using? They're made of yeti skin.

mort-1.jpg
- Oh.

barb-1.jpg
- And they are coming here to retrieve grandma's remains.

Screenshot396.jpg

Really quick and easy battle.

Screenshot397.jpg

We find this in a nearby container. If equipped, it gives a minor regeneration. Kinda useful. After that we reach the stoned guy.

bob-marley1.jpg

Not this stoned guy.

Screenshot399.jpg

Screenshot404.jpg

And after that question he died.

"But the game wouldn't cut the dialogue like that"

HE DIED!

He sure talked a lot before dying.

Screenshot413.jpg

Lets move on.

Screenshot415.jpg

akbar.jpg

Screenshot416.jpg

Argh, let's get back.

Screenshot434.jpg

We find this guy.

Screenshot435.jpg

After talking to him, we move a bit...

Screenshot452.jpg

To find this. A werewolf. Who would have thought!?

Screenshot449.jpg

sir-1.jpg
- So, you are not a werewolf.

Beodaewn - Most certainly not.

sir-1.jpg
- Despite being stationed in front of a wolf's den, with fresh wolf tracks leading inside and out.

Beodaewn - Some wolfs must have smelled food inside, or something.

sir-1.jpg
- And you mentioned you are part of he Fifth House of the Blood moon.

Beodaewn - Yes?

sir-1.jpg
- Blood Moon? Werewolf? You don't see any connection?

Beodaewn - Should I?

sir-1.jpg
- We found one werewolf close to here, in a place where by day you cultists are seen.

Beodaewn - By the gods, there's a werewolf on the loose where my flock stays? I hope they are safe!

sir-1.jpg
- C'mon, there's a "Turn into a werewolf today! Ask me how!" plaque next to your "storage" place!

Beodaewn - Oh, I found it some days ago. I liked the colors, such a nice plaque that is...

sir-1.jpg
- Wait, what's that on your chin? Is that blood?

Beodaewn - Blood? Don't be silly, it's just ketchup!

sir-1.jpg
- Oh, this is ridiculous.

Sir Dwarfington checks the wolf den, and there are remains that look they were chewed, by -gasp- a big wolf!

Beodaewn then turns into a wolf and turns hostile.

Here my dear readers, you have to forgive me. The program I use to make SSs was deactivated in this and in the next battle. When I realized that, The last save was very far away, and I decided to omit those two fights. To compensate you dear readers, I used my other artistic talents and made a sketch of the enemies of the party.

wolf.jpg

The battle with the werewolf was tough, he was by far the single hardest enemy so far, and it was possible to defeat him only because he was alone.

You obviously can see how vicious he is, by that drawing.

druids.jpg

And after the battle with the werewolf, I already had the whole map explored. There was no way to advance other than fighting the rangers/druids. So that's what the party did.

Screenshot454.jpg

We advance to the next area.

Screenshot455.jpg

We see this dialogue.

Screenshot464.jpg

Screenshot465.jpg

Screenshot466.jpg

Screenshot468.jpg

Screenshot469.jpg

The fucker doesn't stay to help us.

Screenshot475.jpg

Not that we need him.

Screenshot476.jpg

Frost fingers is quite weak.

Screenshot477.jpg

We prepare a fireball.

Screenshot478.jpg

And miss most of it. Just one guy was affected.

Screenshot479.jpg

Things were going fine.

Screenshot480.jpg

Until half the party is hit with paralysis

Screenshot482.jpg

Well, now I have to end this quickly, I use the higher spell I have left. Fire Arrow. Wizerella is level 8, so she produces two arrows instead of one.

Screenshot483.jpg

After a Melf's Acid Arrow and some arrows from Lizzie, the Aurilite Postulant dies.

Screenshot486.jpg

We loot the corpses, and move on.

Screenshot490.jpg

Upwards, we find this.

Screenshot491.jpg

No trouble.

Screenshot492.jpg

After it receives enough damage, its back starts to glow.

barb-1.jpg
- RUN, IT'S GOING TO EXPLODE!

liz-1.jpg
- What? Don't be ridiculous, it's an animal, animals don't explode.

barb-1.jpg
- Sorry, it was some kinda reflex.

Screenshot493.jpg

The thing does not explode. It dies. I don't know why its back glowed. Maybe some special attack it couldn't pull off before dying.

Screenshot495.jpg

Screenshot496.jpg

We find those while exploring.

Screenshot499.jpg

And quickly kill one of those crystal golems. They're quite frail to bludgeoning weapons.

Screenshot500.jpg

Moving on, we find these levers.

Screenshot501.jpg

And those ice blocks down there. Along with that Remoraz.

Screenshot504.jpg

I don't remember where the remoraz went, but we push those levers, and some rocks fall over the ice blocks.

Screenshot505.jpg

Encased in the ice blocks, are the Luskan soldiers, and we get a medallion from the hands of one of them.

Screenshot454.jpg

The medallion allowed us to open the doors in this temple.

And here we end the update. I should post a new one Wednesday.

Guys, I would like some feedback. Is the LP readable?

The quality of the screenshots is enough, or should I raise it? And the font size?

And when the party talks to some NPC, and I write dialogue for them, I get the impression their lines get squeezed between the party portraits. Is it fine as it is, and if it is not, any suggestions on how to improve?

Screenshot quality seems ok to me. I mean, there are some noticeable jpg compression flaws on them, but nothing distracting from reading the LP.

Font size is readable without eye strain = sufficient.

I'm not sure what You mean by 'squeezed in lines'.

Also: moar!

EDIT: oh yeah, the werewolf picture is fucking awesome.

Yep, it's totally readable. The screenshot size and the font size are both okay.
Good work.

Update. On a side note, I am starting to hate dialogue in this game. Specially looped dialogue, that forces you to pick lines you already picked. You will see why either in this or the next update.

Screenshot003.jpg

From where we started. Since we got the amulet that opens doors, those walking weapons and shields become hostile. But they are no trouble.

Screenshot008.jpg

Moving on.

Screenshot026.jpg

We rest and meet our next encounter.

Screenshot027.jpg

I use Beltyn's Burning Blood on one of the ladies. If the target fails fortitude, it takes 3d6 per turn of damage and goes berserk, which is great against casters. It checks for the save every turn for a while.

Screenshot030.jpg

Lizzie is casting a new something I prepared. You can see in the SS, the Aurilite made her save.

Screenshot032.jpg

That Queen Remoraz is tough, and resists piercing damage too. I decide to cast haste on Sir Dwarfington, so he finishs it off quickly.

Screenshot034.jpg

The something I prepared was a flamestrike spell. I tought I had caught that on SS, but I did not. The Remoraz starts to glow, and I still don't know what that means, but I pull my melee guys back.

Screenshot036.jpg

The Aurilite fails here fortitude save.

Screenshot039.jpg

And the Remoraz finally dies.

Screenshot040.jpg

When it dies, the ice barrier behind it gets on fire. Which makes perfect sense. The fire damages Sir Dwarfington badly.

Screenshot042.jpg

Screenshot043.jpg

And now this guy. I retreat to heal Dwarfington and Barbaric!, and also cast a Fireball his way.

Screenshot049.jpg

I drink some potions, and he throws ice on my head. It's Ice Storm, a level 4 wizard spell.

Screenshot050.jpg

When I fought this guy, I tought it would be a tough battle, and was kinda intimidated.

Screenshot052.jpg

But he dies fairly quick. He drops a nice +2 Longsword, which I give to Dwarfington. I realize I don't show the equipment or spell selection to you, but the amount of SSs is already huge, and I try to trim it as much as possible, otherwise I would never advance in the game, while the updates would be gigantic, and very likely boring.

Screenshot060.jpg

Moving on, we find...

Screenshot061.jpg

Ice trolls! Which remind me of... Ice trolls of regular trolls? Which is better and why? Discuss!

Screenshot064.jpg

A decently placed Fireball.

Screenshot065.jpg

Barbaric!'s weapon does 1d6 fire damage, so he finishes the trolls off.

Screenshot066.jpg

Not a particularly tough battle.

Screenshot071.jpg

After killing a single remoraz we find this guy. He put the remoraz to sleep, and lost his pet spider. We promise to find it for him.

barb-1.jpg
- You guys find it weird we only found women inside this temple so far?

sir-1.jpg
- You complaining?

barb-1.jpg
- Not at all, they have pale white skin and those robes fit them so nicely...

mort-1.jpg
- Yeah, don't get too happy tough, the lack of men here is a sign they're all lesbians.

Screenshot077.jpg

Look who we found.

Screenshot080.jpg

Screenshot085.jpg

Screenshot089.jpg

Sherincal starts throwing a lighnint bolt on us, and then leaving.

Screenshot090.jpg

Letting some barbarians for us to deal with.

Screenshot091.jpg

One down.

Screenshot093.jpg

And the other. Since there's no enemies in sight, I rest...

Screenshot104.jpg

...Buff and move.

Screenshot105.jpg

Only one of those barbarians for the melee guys

Screenshot106.jpg

Barbaric! fails his save, and gets panicked.

Screenshot109.jpg

Haste on Dwarfington, but we can't climb those stairs, we have to activate some levers on top of them first, using ranged attacks. That spell that Lizzie is casting is a flamestrike...

Screenshot110.jpg

...That again I failed to SS. I put Mortimer on the job of activating the lever, and attack the Aurilite on our level.

Screenshot111.jpg

One Aurilite less. Meanwhile Shenrical is not doing much. I think she casts a mind affecting spell sometimes, like that chromatic orb.

Screenshot113.jpg

Lever activated, Dwarfington up.

Screenshot114.jpg

Meanwhile Barbaric! recovered from the panic. Let's bring him to the fray.

Screenshot115.jpg

Both melee fighters are up there.

Screenshot116.jpg

But I take Dwarfington down, to deal with those necromancers.

Screenshot119.jpg

Meanwhile Barbaric! is panicked again, and I'm casting some spells on Sherincal.

Screenshot120.jpg

Magic missiles now.

Screenshot121.jpg

Barbaric! fails his save against fear AGAIN.

Screenshot122.jpg

Dwarfinton's job is almost done.

Screenshot123.jpg

Sherincal finally engages in melee, to my dismay. 39 damage in one hit!

Screenshot124.jpg

Dwarfington kills the final necromancer.

And shit, I did not take the SS of her death. When Dwarfington killed that last necromancer, she was already "Almost Dead". I don't remeber who did it, but the final blow was all that was needed for her to die.

Screenshot127.jpg

Screenshot128.jpg

Her sword. Pretty good.

Screenshot113.jpg

Here is the door to the temple.

mort-1.jpg
- So she was a dragon woman?

sir-1.jpg
- Yeah...

mort-1.jpg
- Am I the only one thinking it raises some really interesting questions? Like, how the fuck does that even work? Dragons aren't even mammals!

barb-1.jpg
- Even if we forget that, I imagine a dragon's dick is huge. There's no way some woman got fucked by a dragon.

sir-1.jpg
- Yes, but how that happened then? Some guy just woke up and said to himself "Hmm, today I think I want to fuck a dragon."?

sir-1.jpg
- Also, how do you do that, I mean, I doubt any dragon would let a human try to fuck it.

barb-1.jpg
- So we have a dragon rapist.

mort-1.jpg
- Correction, and indiscriminate dragon rapist, because I doubt he can tell male from female.

sir-1.jpg
- So we have to assume that at some point in history there was a guy who just run around putting his dick in every huge lizard he found in his way.

barb-1.jpg
- And that he was powerful enough to have his way with dragons. Is it just me, or you guys also think it would be best to never, EVER meet this guy?

mort-1.jpg
- Guys, that's sounding too far fetched. There's gotta be a simpler explanation for that.

mort-1.jpg
- I'm thinking some dragon with a human fetish just caught an adventurer who was after its stash and made him its boy-toy.

sir-1.jpg
- That's somehow even worse than the dragon rapist theory.

mort-1.jpg
- Why is that?

sir-1.jpg
- Because the dragon rapist rapes dragons. On the other hand, we are adventurers, and we will probably meet some dragons along our path.

sir-1.jpg
- What do you think of being forced to fuck a giant lizard for the rest of your life, Mortimer?

mort-1.jpg
- I think I now understand why dragons are so feared.

I know this one was pretty shot, but the next update is already played, and the dialogue pics are already done, I only need to write it. It should have been a part of this one, but since I already have this part written...

Nice. Even male lesbi phantasies are in.

Ice trolls or regular trolls? Which is better and why? Discuss!

I'm kinda conflicted about that, really. :? On the one hand, ice trolls are horrible creatures and you'd do well to avoid them whenever you can. On the other, you can kill them, which is a plus given that you can't normally do that to regular trolls. You can "ignore" the latter kind, of course, but killing trolls is so much more satisfying, you know.

Back to the job. We just entered the temple, inside the glacier

Screenshot131.jpg

Hello, how are you? I'm fine too.

Screenshot132.jpg

Everybody made their save. Those Ice golem champions resist bludgeoning. They hit hard and are tough. But those ladies aren't a challenge, and alone they can't be much opposition.

Screenshot134.jpg

They are weak to fire, tough. But I think they are immune to spells, so only Barbaric!'s weapon does good damage against them.

Screenshot135.jpg

Well, magic missiles don't work.

Screenshot136.jpg

They give a shitload of experience, too.

mort-1.jpg
- Those ladies are so pretty, with their pale white skin... I wish we could be putting some moves, instead of arrows, on them.

sir-1.jpg
- Trust me on this one Mortimer, you don't want anything with them, I know the type.

mort-1.jpg
- What type?

sir-1.jpg
- Mortimer, how do you think this whole glacier was done?

mort-1.jpg
- I don't know, but what does it have to do with anything?

sir-1.jpg
- I tell you what. This glacier was probably created when some of those women gathered, and then opened their legs all at the same time.

sir-1.jpg
- The extreme cold emanating from their vaginas created this huge amount of ice we have around us.

sir-1.jpg
- Now, you don't want to get frostbite on your wang, do you?

wiz-1.jpg
liz-1.jpg
- - Look sternly at Sir Dwafington -

sir-1.jpg
- What!?

Screenshot137.jpg

I found this not on a corpse, near the entrance.

Screenshot139.jpg

Moving on, more opposition.

Screenshot141.jpg

Charge!

Screenshot143.jpg

Like I said, those Aurilites are pretty frail.

Screenshot144.jpg

I don't know how Dwarfinton did 9 bludgeoning damage wielding a sword.

Screenshot146.jpg

A polar bear. I remember some guy who loves bears. He would love those ladies around here.

Screenshot147.jpg

I retreated a bit, so I'm not blocked by the doorway or something.

Screenshot149.jpg

I deemed a good idea to use a fireball. Not sure if necessary.

Screenshot151.jpg

This bear doesn't hit particularly hard.

Screenshot152.jpg

Mortimer sneak attack is packing some punch lately. Let's take a look at those statues in that room.

Screenshot158.jpg

Screenshot159.jpg

She interrupts our statue seeing.

Screenshot162.jpg

Chant affects us. If I recall correctly, it gives +1 to the enemies, and -1 to us, on our attack rolls.

Screenshot164.jpg

We use Burning Blood. It's effective. No damn spells falling on our heads.

Screenshot165.jpg

Those white columns happen when we drink an spirit potion, which heals 25 damage. Also not that the High Priestess attacked one of her flock. That berserk shit sure is good when it works.

Screenshot166.jpg

She dies pretty soon after that. Back to statue gazing.

Screenshot167.jpg

Screenshot168.jpg

Screenshot169.jpg

Screenshot171.jpg

Enough of that, lets move.

Screenshot177.jpg

A lady and her wolf.

Screenshot181.jpg

A dead lady and her dead wolf

barb-1.jpg
- How do these women survive in here? There's no food growing anywhere, and they don't seem to carry any gold.

mort-1.jpg
- Well, there's only ice and lesbians around, and everybody already has ice. Maybe they got a lesbian based economy?

wiz-1.jpg
- Mortimer, you can't be serious, a lesbian based economy, that's the most stu-

sir-1.jpg
barb-1.jpg
- AWESOME IDEA EVER!

Screenshot190.jpg

Oppostion. Another Ice Golem Champion, but this time, he has support.

Screenshot191.jpg

I actually had to reload this fight once or twice. That fucker hits hard.

Screenshot192.jpg

With it down...

Screenshot196.jpg

We find another group of two Aurilites and a winter wolf

Upon the sight of those two pretty Aurilites:

mort-1.jpg
- Hey, sugarbuns, I think you should have a business transaction with each other.

barb-1.jpg
- Yes, my gross domestic product is already rising!

Screenshot197.jpg

Screenshot198.jpg

Exploring, we find:

Screenshot203.jpg

Screenshot217.jpg

If the dialogue seems disjointed, it's because there are looping dialogue branches, and I did not want to make the dialogue pic even bigger.

Screenshot219.jpg

Prisoner - Free at least!

Prisoner - The food here was terrible!

Prisoner 2 - That, and the prospect of being horribly killed.

Prisoner - The warden had such nice tits tough, almost make it worth to be incarcerated pending gruesome execution.

Screenshot220.jpg

We move up, kill those two barbarians, and find:

Screenshot227.jpg

Screenshot234.jpg

Screenshot249.jpg

Screenshot250.jpg

Again, looped dialogue with repeating answers.

sir-1.jpg
- Do we really have to kill them? I mean, they have this awesome contribution to the field of economics, and...

wiz-1.jpg
- There's no such thing as a lesbian based economy! Now shut up and swing your weapon at them.

sir-1.jpg
- Well, I would like to swing my weapon at them, but since they're lesbians, I don't think they would like it much. And there's the issue with the frostbite...

wiz-1.jpg
- I MEANT YOUR SWORD!

Screenshot261.jpg

Anyway, we are being attacked on two fronts.

Screenshot262.jpg

Somebody throws silence on us, but thankfully, it only affects Barbaric!

Screenshot263.jpg

I think I missed the SS where I threw a nice fireball inside the room.

Screenshot264.jpg

Mortimer gets paralysed.

Screenshot265.jpg

I resolve that fighting two fronts is too problematic, and start casting...

Screenshot266.jpg

...Flamestrike! And this time I got the SS. It kills the Aurilites dead, the winter wolf too. It hits Mortimer too, but I knew that would probably hit him, it's no problem, there's nothing to hurt him left now.

Screenshot268.jpg

The Golem died, so I move Dwarfington inside the room. He is equipped with that Great Sword, that have absurdly big bonuses against humans.

Screenshot269.jpg

Screenshot270.jpg

So they end up dying pretty quickly.

Screenshot271.jpg

Some part of a puzzle.

Screenshot276.jpg

Scenery?

Screenshot279.jpg

That's a crapload of Andhairas Trolls.

Screenshot280.jpg

We move back, cast Emotion: Hope. It gives +2 on attack and damage rolls to everybody in an area.

Screenshot281.jpg

Those trolls aren't very strong, but they have some irritating resistances

Screenshot282.jpg

Flamestrike on their heads.

Screenshot284.jpg

After a while, most of them are on the ground.

Screenshot285.jpg

Barbaric! goes hitting one by one, to kill them dead.

Exploring a bit more, we find:

Screenshot287.jpg

Screenshot294.jpg

This is Andhaira's game. There are trolls, djinns and goat fuckers. He will feel right at home!

That's it guys. Next update will take a while, still have to play it, and make the dialogue pics. I hope there won't be much more dialogue in this section of the game.

All hail no life syndrome allowing people to update Let's Plays on Christmas Eve. :salute:

(Says someone, who spent half a day making his own LP.)

I liked the Lysan shoutout to first IceWind Dale. At least I think that was it. Or is there a priestess called Lysan in this game too?

Lysan does not appear in the game, and she is mentioned as the inspiration for the three sisters.

I don't remember the first game well, but If I had to guess, the adventuring party probably killed her in that game..

I haven't played the first, but I've repeatedly had the feeling that stuff that occurs in this one was a reference to it. Like, if the people in the first game hadn't gone around doing their killing and looting, several of the bad things that happen in this one wouldn't have occurred. A cautionary tale against adventuring.

To the three guys (and gals? Crooked Bee always strikes me as female for some reason) following this thread, I have not given up on it.

It's just that I have zero ideas for what to write on the next update, and have been procrastinating.

I will get to it soon.
