The only way that this thread should be retardoed would be if we were living in some cross-over b/w the retardo and bizarro universes. It is exactly the opposite of retardo - seriously, I had honestly thought the 'net-nerd does anything for someone pretending to be some girl pretending to like him' days were over. Not that net-nerds are any less desperate (pre-about-20 that is - after that the guy-nerds and girl-nerds actually start realise that nerds of the opposite sex can be pretty hot. From about 25 on, I genuinely think nerds of both sexes get more action than non-nerds - less hang-ups, girls more likely to be into kinky net-porn, haven't had their ability to function in a relationship destroyed by high-school-ego-inflation, but instead overestimate the extent to which they have to be nice/funny/good-at-felatio/cunninlingus to pick up due to their low success rate at high school, etc). But I really thought people had become too cynical for this to happen anymore.
Seriously, someone should (a) tell Darth Windu and the TG fanbase and laugh loudly at them, (b) email the guy in question, say you're disgusted that someone would do that, and that as a girl, if a guy did that to you then you'd be devastated, that you feel really sorry for him, that he is actually kind of cute and you can see why he fell for it cause he must get lots of girls hitting on him all the time, and btw can he send your WoW character just a tiny amount of gold to help get restarted, (c) sticky it, both as a warning, and for historical archiving purposes, so that if it never happens again we can have hard proof that humans had not yet evolved beyond falling for these shenanigans as of that date.

The poll options are not complete enough. As always the answer is somewhere in between as there sure is people that is desperate like that. Check out anti-scam.org for instant entertainment on how people are prepared to send huge sums of money to someone writing them a few e-mails with attached sexy photos. It seems to be so easy that I am sure I could make a living on it considering how horribly written many of those are.

That's not any proof, but look at the timestamps. DW responded to April's previous sentence at the same time she wrote him another.
One thing that it points out is - if this is fake, someone put an inordinate amount of effort into making it look real. Which would be lulzy too.
