DocHop has wrote on the gamezone.com about top 10 western cRPGs. Apparently Fallout 3 or Oblivion are much better cRPGs than Planescape Torment or Bloodlines. Check it yourself and join the criticism... er... I mean conversation if you want to.

I wrote my comment on their site though I doubt it will help anyhow. Maybe if there are more people laughting and criticizing it on their site they may think next time before writing something like this. If you want to register on their site and post it is really easy and fast - you just write your nick, e-mail and password so tell them how retarded that list is if you have some time, maybe it will help if there are more of us Smile

Actually I am going to spoil the fuck out of it for everyone:

10. PS:T
9. Deus Ex(Yes, apparently it's more RPG than PS:T)
8. Neverwinter Nights("robust campaign")
7. Fable(At least they have enough decency to refer to it as action-RPG)
6. KOTOR(more like KOT:roll: amirite)
5. Fallout 3
4. Oblivion(This is where things start getting bizzare)
3. Mass Effect
2. Diablo 2(apogeum)

And the first place...

1. Baldur's Gate.

Yes, don't scroll up. There is no Fallout on the list. No Arcanum. No Bloodlines.

Just another daily rage thread

Well at least they have BG in.. and at a good place, though even I wouldn't put it THAT high. Especially not the first part...

Whatever, basically that list is just fail...

Maybe they don't like lists. So, they made a bad list on purpose.

Basically, such lists alwas boil down to "I'M GONNA LIST MY FAVOURITE GAMES" or "I WONDER WHICH DEVELOPER COCK I WANT TO SUCK MOST"

Here it's obviously Bioware and Bethesda, and a bit of Lionhead.

Simple - to get shreds of credibility.

'Hay, look guise! I mention old games that everyone's heard about to show how much of an oldschool gamer I am, therefore I know my shit and this list is great!'

There's absoloutely no point in getting a rage boner over this, that website appears to have all the credibility of an amazon.com "My top 10 recomended games list!!"

The list warps reality in the real world, unfortunately we live in the ADHD dumbfuck world({ U.S. political comments edited for our overly sensitive socialist foreign "friends"}) so it actually fits, even if it is HORRRIBLY painful...

So 3 of the top ten were developed exclusively for the Xbox/360 and ported to PC later, two of them were developed with the 360 as the primary platform and the PC as a second thought, and three of them aren't RPGs by any but the loosest definition of the term.

Good list.ERROR -: [FUNCTION NOT POSSIBLE]

Most of the RPG genre aren't RPGs, J or PC.

Shitty list is shitty and no game is pre Windows 95 era.

Does this surprise anyone?
