So much hype... Okay, I'll accept the main character is forced to "die" at the start (Biowhare needs an excuse so you can start at lvl 1), but if that's so then stop giving dialogues with choices like "yes", "ok", and "why not?" goddamit!

My guess is that it's some kind of head shield to protect him from suffocating in space in case the shield protecting the cockpit area fails. 'Course, it won't help weather the parts of his body that might get exposed to vacuum...Begriffenfeldt said::shock:

Shit. I hate the changes in this game.
Whatever they did to 'improve' combat, it didn't work. The universal cooldown they introduced to all power usage made combat draggy in Insane difficulty with heavy shielding needs to be taken out, before biotic powers can affect them. I might lower the difficulty if it gets too boring. Seriously, take cover while enemy is shooting, shoot back when they're reloading gets old fast.
Every loading screen tried to tell me what powers worked with Armor / Shield / Barrier etc, but honestly, they didn't need to. The game highlighted the powers in DEEP RED when I can't affect certain targets, so no thinking is required.
More complaints to come, I'm at work now. I'll upload more when I get home. In 10 hours.

I didn't like the changes that much myself since there was no explanation for why suddenly shields and armor have a resistance to biotics. The universal cooldown was also another feature that felt slapped on because the previous imp made things...too easy?
But definitely looking forward to more of your adventures with EXTREME Shepard. Can't wait to see what happens next.
