Harbinger gets a little love at PC Gaming Xtreme

A rather new site on the block, it seems, but PC Gaming Xtreme(Love the name, guys!) has posted a review of Silverback's title, Harbinger. The main criticism of the game appears to be the lack of multiplayer and that it can get boring at times, but in the end, it scores a 78%. Here's a bit of it:

Like any RPG the level up system is pretty much a standard. You can upgrade your character attributes as you see fit. One thing I thought was very interesting was the addition of a "unique" attribute to each character class. Human's ability is to place and pickup mines. The cyborg can deploy cameras to help with scouting and avoid running into a potential death trap. While the Culibine has the ability to use amplifiers some increase offensive abilities while other help with defense, lets go ahead and touch the surface of the skill attribute tree. Leveling and point distribution is generally like any other title of the genre. The Culibine has, Ranged, Radial, Focus, Life; for the Gladiator, Melee, Ranged, Override, Life; and for Human, Melee, Ranged, Rigging, Life. As you can see apart from these attributes not much else is there to play around with to develop your character.

This is where the commentary on the diminished meaning of the term role playing game goes.
