The Russians are making yet another RPG! This gotta be a part of some master plan to dominate the world, at least the RPG-playing part of population. Anyway, this time it's a sci-fi first person RPG called Sabotain: Break the Rules. The game focused on sabotage, infiltration, rescue, intelligence-gathering, thievery, reconnaissance, assassination, and all-out combat. Here is another <a href=http://www.akella.com/sabotain/#>site[/url] with more goodies including a shot of the character screen.

Distant future. War between Empire and Confederation, and Rebels against both. Empire's secret agent infiltrates to Confederation capital with a sabotage mission to do the undercover work on framing the government leaders and performing all sorts of action on weakening the forces of the Confederation. The ways of sabotage vary from innocent to evil and it becomes difficult for a hero to decide if it is the Confederation who is bad and the Empire who is good and not vice versa. At a certain point a hero can switch the sides and start the activity on the side of Confederation resulting in crushing the forces of the Empire and peace in the galaxy. The third storyline may begin when on the way to the demolition of the Empire and the Rebels who situate in the Confederation capital and sympathize the Empire. A hero meets the dilemma of the Rebels being good and the rest being bad so the choice is: stay with Confederation or switch to Rebels' side.

There are six classes of weapons (out of 25 types) and each class needs to be upgraded if you are concerned about not only hitting the target... but damaging it with that particular weapon. Also there are eight additional skills: first aid, healing, stealth, meditation, hacking, science, stealing, gala haste...

It is possible to implant up to five microchips that add different bonuses to the character's attributes. You have to find the chip (usually in special secret places) and acknowledge the technology of its implantation (which can be found in secret networks). For the process of implantation your character may need the service of a medical robot. Implants cannot be removed.

Body art, ancient symbols of the race of Arari, is an additional way to improve the character's attributes. Overall there exist 26 types of tattoos. The maximum number of tattoos a character can have is 12. Each drawing adds different attribute and skill points from the moment you stick it on the character's body. There are two ways a character may get a tattoo stamp: either buying it from a NPC or receiving one as an award for the successful accomplishment of a mission.
Sounds pretty cool. Much better then Metalheart except, of course, it's not isometric.
