Tags: Troika Games; Vampire: The Masquerade - BloodlinesUGO.com has posted their review of Troika's latest foray into the RPG world with plenty of good things to say about it. Here's a snippet:
Given your many choices in the game, the replay factor is very high. One could play the game once as an animalistic Gangrel and next play as a powerful Tremere, and there still would be seven clans left to play. There are hundreds of ways to solve problems and interact with NPCs in the game. Old school Dungeons and Dragons gamers should be very pleased with Bloodlines (as I am one of them and I feel safe in making this statement).
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines is the culmination of next-generation, first-person action game technology coupled with a top RPG developer and a renowned RPG franchise. The Source engine takes this game to another level and is really suited for building believable environments. Although Bloodlines benefits from its use of cutting edge technology, the engrossing story brings it all together in an immersive experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to any RPG fan out there.
The verdict is in: A-
