Tags: HarbingerRPG vault has posted an Intelligence Report, which I guess is a fancier word for "preview", on Silverback's sci-fi, stuck on a spaceship CRPG, Harbinger. They cover everything from items to combat to how the graphics engine handles things. Here's a sample:
Positives: In our hands-on experience with a limited build, Harbinger has been fun to play, with each character supporting a different style of play, and with fast reflexes being helpful but not completely essential. Visually, the game has a very distinctive look and feel.
Question Marks: The build we played was quite limited in scope and included unknown changes from what is planned to the release version so as to make it easier to use as a demo, so we can't be sure how well our foretaste represents the final product. As well, the games' and the teams; modest visibility means a corresponding level of awareness.
Outlook: Naturally, we would feel more comfortable about the game if we had seen more of it. However, we find more reason for optimism than for doubt. The Silverback Entertainment team looks poised to deliver a fun experience with good replayability and the chance to become one of this generation's sleepers
Sleeper?
