Tags: Hero of AllacrostThere's a new demo of the open source RPG Hero of Allacrost. Some of the features mentioned for this new release:
For those unfamiliar with the game it promises similar playing style to the console RPGs released during the 1990s, taking inspiration from Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger.
The demo is available for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. Follow the links and guides to your desired download here.
Worth a look at the site and screen shots there as it seems better than the usual RPG Maker style clones that you'd expect from free console style RPGs and the higher quality art makes it more pleasing to the eye than most of these projects tend to be. It is still early days for the project yet but could well be worth watching if you like this style of RPG. It'll make a change from watching the professional RPG disasters in the making.
Thanks copx!
