Ultima What is the best Ultima game?

For me it was part V. I played it for months - on my C64 if I remember right. Only other game I played for months on that platform was Pirates.

Arcanum Arcanum is a bit shit tbh

Arcanum is a (very) decent RPG, but certainly not the glorified Top 10 of all time stuff some see in it.

Game News Corsairs Legacy Will Be

So the only pirate slavs know of is Johnny Depp I guess, or is there is another reason the char runs like he just was on the receiving end of an BBC porn?

Rusty's official unofficial RPGCODEX 2020 GOTY thread

    1. Wasteland 3 2. CP 2077 going second place - didn't really grip me. I am more of a party-RPG-player. Can't remember other 2020 RPGs I played, so either I didn't or I forgot about them and they are not worth mentioning (from my side at least).

Preview Baldur's Gate 3 Gameplay Reveal, Previews and Interviews

So, 4 char party? If Larian cheats me for 1/3 of my prefered party size, I'll give them 1/3 less money - so I only grab this with a 33% at least.

Game News Larian is making Baldur's Gate 3

Well, I doubt the story will be related to BG 1 and 2 Bhaalspawn-wise. Baldurs Gate is a big city, could be a setting for anything. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2019-06-05-its-true-divinity-studio-larian-is-making-baldurs-gate-3 But we do now know this about the setting: "The events from...

No XP from kills in an RPG (Pillars of Eternity)

If I kill something I eat its heart to take over skills and memories of my fallen enemy - of course this should never stop.
