Eh, not really. The main reason is the best starting Deflection and Accuracy as well. With Disciplined Barrage(+20 accuracy buff ever battle) it gives your other active skills (Knock down, the pull one) insane consistency even on PotD. You can get more engagements from items so Defender is not...

Incline Okay let's be real here... Which games can never be RPGs?

Manager type games are very close to RPGs , but they have their own genre. Most importantly they miss a crucial part of RPGs that is the adventure element.

Incline Okay let's be real here... Which games can never be RPGs?

Action and Roleplaying are at the opposite side of a scale when classifying game genres. A game typically can not be Action RPG. The term ARPG is just historically imposed for Diablo-like games to differentiate them from the typical RPGs at the time for marketing purposes. They are still RPGs...

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

Not true from my experience. You can defiantly hold actual front line with 3 melee characters that have extra engagement talent(or items). Only very few enemies would change target if they are engaged already, basically they need to have a blink like ability or some spells/abilities that are...

The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition - Obsidian's first-person sci-fi RPG set in a corporate space colony

This is irony, right? Muted colours all over the place right next to bright red and yellow makes this game ugly, fake and hard to look at. Look at this shit:

Incline RPG Codex's Best RPGs - 2024 - VOTE ONLY THREAD

Colony ship ended been too safe and formulaic in design. Vince actually believed the retards complaining about AoD teleporting around and been too cyoa-like.

    The Denuvo DRM Thread

Falling for the most basic jew tactic of diverting the attention to the wrong cause of the problem. :hmmm: Pirating doesn't remove Denuvo, you are dumb.

Resolve is the most used stat in dialog, so any character that wants to tank would benefit the most.

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

Maybe. I find multiclassing in Pillars 2 to be terrible. It's very under-baked and lacks good design and synergies. The first one at least had defined direction in its class roles and the spells were fun to experiment with. On top the turn based combat feels tacked on and don't play very well...

Eternity Pillars of Eternity + The White March Expansion Thread

Pillars is terrible for larping and decent for combatfags. Barbarians I find pretty weak for the standard expected fantasy of big reckless damage. The Barbarians in Pathfinder are more fitting for that as you can oneshot pretty much all enemies but bosses, while in Pillars they are a worse...

Incline RPG Codex's Best RPGs - 2024 - VOTE ONLY THREAD

That's kind of hard as to say a game is Hidden Gem it has to be somewhat good and good RPGs are talked about a lot on the codex. For normies ATOM or Age of Decadence are hidden gems, but here they are pretty much more known and discussed than most AAA RPGs.

Classified: France ’44 - French Resistance turn-based tactics

Wouldn't call is awesome, but it has the best moment to moment gameplay feel from all the nuXCOM types games. To bad it was very repetitive and shallow.

    Diablo IV

You need to finish the campaign to unlock tier 3 anyway and that needs lvl50, so I ignored 90% of side quests, did the aspect dungeons and ran thru most mobs and still ended lvl52 at the end.(and that was after they locked wt3 to lvl 50). There is zero incentive to level while traveling to quest...

    Diablo IV

D4 campaign is terrible. In most quests half the time you are just going to the quest objective that is in random place without any structure. What I mean is starting at town then you are sent to a place at the corner of the map, then you need to interact with something and go to another...
