  1. The Codex of Roguelikes

Classic answer is Frozen Depths. Surprisingly contemporary answer would be something like GodoRogue.
  2. The Codex of Roguelikes

Was solid with potential among the few at that time on the OGL front for it before things got weird on said front, unsure if game abandoned or if a consequence of the dev seemingly having disappeared outright this past fair while.
  3. The Codex of Roguelikes

As per a few posts back, Dredmor is getting some kind of new development after all these years as they lost all their old mailing lists upon getting things going anew(there was a pop up on their old website, then people started digging on the Steam community page, then the twitter account came...
  4. The Codex of Roguelikes

Dredmor reviving back up somehow isn't the only surprise after more than a decade: https://roguebasin.com/index.php/Triangle_Wizard_2
  5. KickStarter Jupiter Hell - DoomRL successor

Full mod support of late with the latest update, Fuller with the next depending on what sort/if people run into roadblocks---people already working on bringing Assemblies over from DRL and who knows what else. ASCII mode theoretically still coming IIRC.
  6. KickStarter Skyshine's BEDLAM: REDUX!

Nothing on my end either I'm afraid---always unfortunate to see things turn out such a way.
  7. The Codex of Roguelikes

https://ulfsire.itch.io/path-of-achra Early WIP Demo state, but well in hand given how long the dev has spent on it up to now and positioned to be quite possibly the greatest spiritual successor to the core aspects of DCSS and/or TOME alongside attributes unto itself.
  8. KickStarter Mechajammer (formerly Copper Dreams) - cyberpunk RPG from Whalenought Studios

A direly poignant something that the title for the next SitS chunk, IIRC, was Banquet of Fools.
  9. The Codex of Roguelikes

    https://aukustus.itch.io/realms-of-the-lost/devlog/380754/updated-to-alpha-4
  10. Silversword - Bard's Tale on the iPhone/iPad

Could probably just more or less orient such things the same way it was done for The Quest on the jump from mobile to PC sensibilities.
  11. The Codex of Roguelikes

Immense & Delicious Infra Arcana update at long last~ https://gitlab.com/martin-tornqvist/ia/-/releases/v21.0.0
  12. Silversword - Bard's Tale on the iPhone/iPad

Their LootBoxRPG project randomly made it to Steam recently, so perhaps that gives an ember of hope towards an eventual PC port for this as well.
  13. The Codex of Roguelikes

Dev on The Red Prison has livened back up again with a new update: https://patjw.itch.io/theredprison/devlog/355434/finally-a-new-version-of-the-red-prison
  14. Vapourware Sui Generis + Exanima Early Access

Based on the latest updates, it legit seems likely that both Dungeon Kingdom and even Arakion will essentially Get There within perhaps Q1-Q2 2022 after all this time.
  15. Vapourware The definitive, authoritative, and probably non-exhaustive list of non-(IBM) PC cRPGs

Still some misc Newcomer activity on their FB page, though primarily around other projects in a bid to thread various needles. Maybe a tad more optimistic than Darghul territory on the whole.
