Still have free Darklance. Not that Darklance is a great weapon, but it IS fun shooting a sniper rifle 5x per turn every turn.

I assume it's just Chaos diplomancer stuff, since there are several times on the Heretic path where the game describes you speaking "Forbidden Words" or "hypnotize" them and suddenly someone trusts everything you say, even if it's ridiculous.

The Warden from the prison world in Rykad was duped. The populace of Rykad Minoris itself were probably duped with "The Truth", since planets full of people don't just go batshit crazy in a few hours (though there's also lots of assumed torture happening after the fact). The mayor of Janus was...
  4. Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

The big decision there is that widespread fear of what Chaos can do makes Chaos more powerful. So while the existence of Chaos is known to anyone that matters (recently), it's intentionally kept from the masses... to the point where large populations have been outright killed just to prevent a...

There's actually a definition for Evil Laws, different from merely poorly written or unjust laws. "Defined as law, which, if interpreted according to its best purpose, will enable intolerable harm (including atrocities) to the victims themselves." That leads us to Necessary Evils, such as long...

"Damn the consequences, as long as I feel good about my choices!"

Another vote for Chaos Gate being okay-ish. It smashes into lore issues like Terminators barely having more armor than regular guys, and has a weird momentum system that makes you take baby steps with your guys. But on the whole? Okay-ish!

The Imperium also loves them some generational blame. They wipe out entire families and even whole legions of Space Marines for Sins of the Father shit. Even economic debt is passed down.

There are so many unbalanced abilities in the game Officer Spam is just a drop in the bucket. I'm doing Unfair/No Officers, and even just Frontline Stratagem + Combat Locus + Inquisitor Seal is +120% armor for the whole party before enemies can even go.

Exploring the map is about 30% of the game. You can do almost all of that in Ch 2, or save some for Ch 4, but there's no reason to do that unless you just want the Ch 3 items to fuck around with.

Executing her for broadcasting your sex is way more cathartic, especially with an Inferno Pistol. They have a servitor come clean up the body. Honestly, killing anyone with an Inferno Pistol is badass.
  12. Warhammer Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - turn-based Warhammer 40k RPG from Owlcat Games

Yes, if you don't beat her in 3 turns she runs outside and you have a second fight.

Fextralife is a cancer that's just here to get clicks and traffic, not share anything resembling accurate information beyond what can generate moar clicks and traffic. If something isn't popular, they ditch it lightning fast, and even if it is popular they don't care beyond the bare minimum...
