I can't wait for Descent to Undermountain. :troll:
  3. Might and Magic The Might and Magic Discussion Thread

As they say, you can't polish a turd. The game's lead designer, Tim Lang, said in an interview in 2004 that he was "really surprised that people are still playing Might and Magic IX". When even the lead designer won't defend his own game, you know its an irredeemable :decline:.
  4. Might and Magic The Might and Magic Discussion Thread

The ability to have Dragons in your party is cool in concept but its horrendously unbalanced early on in the game. Also, some of the areas are literal death traps such as the Murmur Woods. That said, it still kicks ass.

How? Work in progress is the only state publishers know how to release games in.
  6. Best Morrowind Mods: 2012 Edition?

Overhaul 3.0, Gladiator (for those who want to see what Arena was supposed to be with Morrowind's technology), Morrowind Comes Alive (adds 1000 NPCs with random heads, hair, and equipment that appear at — and disappear from — locations at random times to emulate the coming and going of...
  7. Editorial Matt Barton on the state of today's CRPGs

What the fuck are Oblivion, Mass Effect, & Fable doing in Matt's collection? Why hasn't he sold them yet? :decline:
  8. What rpg development company will EA buy next?

Yeah, all three companies make those types of games. The difference is that EA & Activision only publish them and assure that they're in the first person.
  9. What rpg development company will EA buy next?

Action games where you walk down hallways and watch cutscenes.
  10. Ferret Baudoin is senior desighner on Fallout 4 (?)

They're from Dragon Age II: Electric Boogaloo. One of the worst action RPGs ever made.
  11. Path of Exile is a MAJESTIC incline

I'm predicting its going to be better than Torchlight II. Someone gave me a beta key and its fantastic from what I've played; combat is "visceral", graphics are great, & its atmospheric in the vein of Diablo 1 and 2. Time to fucking celebrate. :kfc:
  12. Interview RPG Codex Interview: Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar

There was actually a Grimore beta back in 1998.
  13. What rpg development company will EA buy next?

That would be implying that Square Enix makes RPGs.
  14. Defense of the Decline

Here's the problem with that, Divinity II & Risen are complete shit on Xbox 360; Oblivion only worked because of the loading of areas and the fact that it was designed for Xbox 360 first. The seamless design of PC games doesn't work on consoles.
