What game did you lose your RPG virginity to?

If Temple of Apshai doesn't count, it was Wizard's Crown as my first proper RPG. It was more of a tactical battle simulator, but is still an RPG.

Incline Battle Brothers + Beasts & Exploration, Warriors of the North and Blazing Deserts DLC Thread

If he gets good mdef rolls, use him as a dodge/nimble duelist. He'll have great melee attack

Incline Battle Brothers + Beasts & Exploration, Warriors of the North and Blazing Deserts DLC Thread

If you want to ensure that the enemy always comes to you, just put slings or bows in everyone's backpack. The AI will think you are massing archers on them and charge you.

World of Darkness Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 from Hardsuit Labs

I'm pretty sure true faith can be in anything. There is a story about a vampire being repelled by a credit card because of the user's faith in economics.

World of Darkness Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 from Hardsuit Labs

Mitsoda's voice is seared in to my head as a Bloodlines voice "actor". This game likely wont be great, but I loved the first so much (9 playthroughs I think? Including the one I'm running now) I wont be able to help myself. D1p for me.

Game News Pillars of Eternity II Fig Update #60: Patch 4.1 - Turn-Based Mode Beta

All of the flaws remain from the games combat system before turn based was added but I am finding some small added value in spells and consumables I would not have even thought of using before. Such as explosives and spells that I wouldn't dare try targeting while the enemies were moving in real...

Game News Pillars of Eternity II Fig Update #60: Patch 4.1 - Turn-Based Mode Beta

Enjoying the turn based combat far more than rtwp. There are some buffs on enemies I'd never have even seen before. Remains to be seen if it holds up through an entire game though.

Does anyone else have anxiety attacks around character creation?

I used to get paralyzed by choice when I was younger but now I typically play the same type of build on a first playthrough, and save the min maxing for the second time through. I cant be bothered to agonize over relatively small decisions anymore and prefer to just get it started.

Game News The New World is now on Steam, gets its first trailer, releasing in Fall 2020

Game News Pillars of Eternity II Fig Update #49: Patch 1.1

Why not? What is "newsworthy" to you, and why don't you go post that shit on your website instead of complaining about what's on a different one? We have one dude that posts articles here. Of course it's going to be biased towards what is most on his radar. (It's the biggest cRPG recently...

RPG Codex Interview: Chris Avellone on Pillars Cut Content, Game Development Hierarchies and More

Hey Chris Avellone, I just wanted to say thank you for your awesome body of work. Your influence is sorely missed in newer Obsidian games (PoE2) where the writing is competent at best, but dull and uninspiring. Can't wait to see what's in your future projects. I want to get excited about an...

Well, you called that one right. Atlantic City Casino Worker here. I got kids though, and from what I hear Philly is just as corrupt as AC as far as their casino industry.
