If you want to play, the game is accessable here: http://www.rpgcodex.net/phpBB/codex_text_adventure.php
Chapter One is actually about 1/10th of a design document I had and barely scratches the surface. There were going to be multiple ways to escape (avoid the guards / get captured and dipped and play that way / disguise), then multiple ways to complete (find DU, join VD and do the purge, join Cleve or blow everything up) but I'd spread too much of it out and had to build a critical mass to get something working. So carved it all back, made it fairly linear and thought "They'll finish it easily in 5 mins but meh". BOY WAS I WRONG THERE.
Originally once you finished chapter 1, you'd access Site Feedback, then you'd have to go to the News forum and play Chapter 2 to access that and so on.
Yes, it was deliberate that there was no save feature. It was my intention that to complete the game you would have to get from start to finish in one clean play-through. The idea being people would post help on the forums as they opened each Chapter. There was also going to be a "SAY" command that would send a message to everyone who was in the same room as you were. I was going to offer some kind of reward for the first person who finished.
Sadly, I ran out of time to complete it so added in BABY ARM who did a James Bond villian-esque plot dump. Everything from Retardo to the end was built on 31 March (a day before it went live), the Prison Complex and rough outline were built and developed about two weeks ago.

SPOILERS
This is a map of the prison complex you start in. You'll start in a different cell based on your user id. The numbers on the map match your user id (hover over the profile button below one of your posts and you'll see your id in the url). If your id is greater than 12,000 you start in a random cell in Block #12.
NOTE: You always head East to get out of your cell. Once done, you can't get back. There's nothing of interest in any of the cells, other than your own.
denizsi's maps are accurate if you want the rest of the game (though he missed Andhaira). When it comes to the randomly connected rooms, you have to find the TRAPDOOR and USE it to get out safely.
The books in the Library do nothing.

DarkUnderlord said:Oh yeah, just in case it wasn't obvious...
Like I said, I didn't get a chance to implement the full scope of the vision.
- The RPG Codex is a [DANGEROUS DUNGEON¹] meant for [HIGH LEVEL PLAYERS ONLY²]. Commonly encountered creatures over there include [NEO-NAZI TROLLS], dungeon junkie furries, [TRANSSEXUAL SUCCUBI], and [MULTI-HEADED ABOMINATIONS]. [CLEVELAND MARK BLAKEMORE], of the [GRIMOIRE] RPG fame, is the final boss and is capable of casting the instant death spell ITZ. If you manage to defeat him then Chris Avellone will fly down from the heavens on a chariot made of gold and give you a pint of his urine, which will grant you a powerful blessing.
EDIT: ¹Instant death puzzles AMIRITE?
²High-level players only roll in Iron Man mode.
