I got an Android phone recently, samsung galaxy s2, so I thought it could be good to download some games on it.
Tried to download some of the free games but they have stupid system that tries to force you to buy some sort of level up points. It's so shit!
Anyway I tried Andors trail which is quite fun but it's far from finished.

Any games you guys would recommend, free or paying?

It was buggy last time I checked, but it was almost a year ago. Still, I managed to run Betrayal at Krondor on my mobile.

That would be a great game to play again! Did you play the CD enhanced version or the classic version? How does it feel on a touch interface?

Nobody knows a decent game on android to play while they optimise Dosbox? :M

I once used an Android emulator to play the Android version of the ancient ZX Spectrum classic Doomdark's Revenge. The Android version had automap, but alas the game itself was bugged.
EDIT: Actually it was a Game Boy Advance version.

Dweller is decent enough for a casual cellphone game. There's also this, dunno if it's any good at all though.

Oh yeah, there's always Marvin, an excellent ZX Spectrum emulator that downloads ROMs automatically from World of Spectrum.

But ZX Spectrum didn't really have... RPGs.

The best bet would be to find a C64 emulator and find a Wasteland ROM.

I remember Lesiofere boasting that she can play Infinity Engine games on her Galaxy Tab. Should work for phones too.

Classic, but I didn't actually play it on the mobile, just checked if it works. I already played it too many times on the PC. The interface seemed a bit too slow, hopefully it's better optimized by now.

Anyway, if you're into adventure games, by all means get ScummVM.

I'm using this version, as it works from SD card.
It has all the best classics, like Day of Tentacle, Sam&Max, Full Throttle, Beneath a Steel Sky, I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Monkey Island series, and many more.
I'm currently playing Broken Sword which I somehow missed before. Here's a shitload of games.

Yup, using GemRB. Works like a dream, no lag or performance problems. A bit shit if you don't have a mouse, though.

Gameloft churns out a bunch of clones. Dungeon Hunter 2 doesn't suck completely if you want Torchlight-lite.

An abandoned hurricane.
Cyberknights RPG and Star Traders RPG are two p. cool games. Both have free versions that are just about the full thing.

The first is a cyberpunk, turn based RPG that to me seems heavily inspired by Shadowrun. It's totally playable but still in beta.

The second is a freeform space game thingy where you do the usual freeform space game things, also turnbased (though the combat is pretty bare bones.)

Both feature factions and have somewhat dynamic open worlds. Those are the only two interesting RPGs I have found on the market, though I use my android mostly for keeping track on my running and surfing porn while on the can so there might be others.
