The first Mad Max is one of the best action films ever made.

If the only movies you've seen are Mad Max and My Dinner with Andre, that statment makes sense.

Maybe if you're an Australian hot-rodder or something.

The best action movie is Power Rangers The Movie. It's got Mega Zords and people screaming Uitche Ai-Yah (which is Korean or something for "I attack you with the anger of a thousand raging tigers"). I think my favorite part is the colors. See all the Power Rangers wear different colors, so they're like a rainbow, a deadly dancing rainbow with giant robots shaped like prehistoric animals.

Stronger than before! (Go Zeo!)
Powered up for more! (Go Zeo!)
Rangers at the core! (Zeo!)
Power Rangers!

Zeeee-ooooo

Higher they can soar! (Go Zeo!)
Fired up for more! (Go Zeo!)
Even out the score! (Zeo! Zeo!)

Go, go Power Rangers!
Go, go Power Rangers!
Go, go Power Rangers!
Zeo! Power Rangers!

Shift into turbo! (Go....)

Mighty engines roar!
Turbo charged for more!
Drive four on the floor!

Go! Power Rangers Turbo, go!Power Rangers Turbo, go!
Power Rangers Turbo!

Oh.....

Set controls to outer space now
Flying higher than ever before
Rangers (in Space!)

Go, Power Rangers!
Go, Power Rangers!
Go, Power Rangers!
Go, go, go, fly
Go, Power Rangers!
Go, Power Rangers!
Go, Power Rangers, go....in Space!

Oh the irony! I remember someone having a go at me for not focusing on the posters topic.

Yeah, Mad Max 2 is a very obvious influence on the FO world, particularly visually. The leather jacket is an intentional homage to MM, as is Dogmeat (there are actually easter-eggish things that come up in FO that make it explicit). The leather and metal armor both look pretty Mad Max-ish as well.
Don't forget Broken Hills.

See Max 1 on the big screen - again, or for the first time. Observe the artistry. Feel the hair on the back of your pallid necks rise.

It's the best. No post-apocalyptic grandiloquence. Just pure, masterfully delivered, real fucking adrenaline.

Yeah, Karail, I just wrote that from memory. 'Twas tough, since there isn't any sort of program or anything I could use to find the lyrics, but I perservered. Preserved. Something.
