Conquered Kingdoms anyone?

Next candidate on my play list is Conquered Kingdoms - http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/conquered-kingdoms

I can find very little information about. Only one mention at the Codex, two mentions at RPG Watch and very little at Mobygames or Wikipedia. But from what I've read and seen it looks like a decent turn based fantasy war game.

Anyone played it?

EDIT: seems to be impossible to find a manual for this game. And the UI is rather unintuitive.
Nevermind, finally found a manual at the Home of the Underdogs: http://www.hotud.org/component/content/article/44-war/19916

You want my expert knowledge on how to defeat Compoleon I take it?

Didn't think anyone else on earth would bother playing this...it isn't the worst game out there though. How are you finding it? I have the whole shebang here. Box, manuals, maps, disks. Probably worth something these days.

I tried it a bit, but found out it was too much like Empire and Warlords 1, with single units fighting each other. I much prefer the more tactical combat of Heroes of Might&Magic and Age of Wonders.
Also, the game was kind of buggy, with the screen not updating correctly.
