Are you alone on the island, or are there other sentient beings to talk to?
I only played half an hour but I didn't see any. There are ambient animals and also (apparently) a single monster.

Dude, never ever do that. There are some potent toxins in some of those shrooms: Amanita phalloides. Some of them may be slow working, some of them may taste good (sweet for example) and it won't hit you until it's too late. Don't gather any mushrooms you do not know, even if you do know them, compare them against atlas pictures when you get back home. Good rule of thumb is also only to get mushrooms that have pores on the hat underside, and not those with gills. It doesn't work all the time but will spare you from accidentally picking up the worst poison.
Thanks. I know mushrooms are very dangerous. They'd be the last thing I'd consider eating in a survival situation.

Playing co-op with that... thing was genuinely disturbing.

And I was playing an obese hitler who alternated between streaking and a g-string.

You can get some weird name/commander combos in CoE3 and 2 like Lancelot the Necromancer.

Ellis, the hairy valkyrie began with good strength, faith and vitality so she's getting a healthy mix of dexterity, senses and speed to catch up. I later thought this might be a bad idea because it's very spread out
Well, it's good to max out your dominant attrib(s) as early as possible, because you get the expert skill(s) that develop with use, so spreading out is not exactly recommended, at least not until you get the expert skills you want.

As for abilities, she's pumping spears like there's no tomorrow (in before rule 34), but along with divine magic because she's gonna be our healer. Close combat is being taken care of, as well. As an aside, Female Burly voice fits her so well, I'm in love lust.
Abilities seem OK. Also fixed.

avoiding enemies
I try, even hiding behind pillars and structures if possible, but they walk towards me anyway. They can smell my fear.
Don't use light.

Other than that just wait or even camp in crevices, prepared for attack. You can also camp behind that building near the middle of the map. It has always been safe for me.

I've been using Light to train fire, but never considered it would attract their attention :retarded:

Well, since I'm here...

Potatolander couldn't reach sweet potato so die of starvation.

Managed to sneak into those piles of rubble at the end of corridors in ruined castles. Sure enough, there's only a walll behind them. I guess those ruins are from a time when people still knew how to cast Passwall.

I swear officer, she just wouldn't stop talking.

While definitely awesome and kerbal, no way it is going to work. From the look of it this is on Minmus and not Mün (too much green). How will you get rid of excess delta-V to de-orbit Kerbin (assuming you can reach it)?

Q: What is licorice used for?
I don't think it's used for anything in BoD. But if I remembe right, there is one encounter on the overland map where you can use bon bons to feed a goat or something.
