This reminds me I never finished this game. I agree with the comment that the writing was pretty shitty but the game had heart.

I'll be happy to restart my long-halted playthroughs of both this and WL2 soon and see what's different. Should be able to build better parties this time, at least. And who knows, maybe even finish the games.

This reminds me I never finished this game. I agree with the comment that the writing was pretty shitty but the game had heart.

I'd like a new story on that engine. I liked coop turn based combat so much in this game, but the writing is just meh, don't wanna replay just for new bells and whistles.

They're both decent enough without enhancements. :M

Too bad enhanced editions weren't considered worth it back in the late 90s/early 00s.

Interestingly, the early-mid 90s had an early form of the Enhanced Edition. It was often called something along the lines of "Enhanced CD-ROM Release".

Actually, my favourite game of all time is TIE Fighter Collector's CD-ROM (released in 1995), so I guess that's a good point.
