I bought Quake 3 and frankly regreted it almost immediatly; I consider UT 2004 to be the best of that era and my relexes simply arent up to speed for Quake anymore... Could I get a refund? Hell I dont even want the money back you guys can keep it as credit but I rather not have a game I simply regret having and spend that money in something more worthwhile like getting some extra copies of Stalker to give to my cousins on Christmas or something....

I though for a minute that GOG would give a refund up to 30 days after purchase if you haven't actually downloaded the game, but looks like it's only if you have technical issues...

No way. Steam allows that (if you have played for less than 2 hours) because they know how long you have played, and once you refund, you cannot play it anymore. GOG is drm-free.
There is a refund policy if you have not actually download the game, but I think it is pointless except you bought a game by mistake.

Afaik all they did is just more of the same, more CYOA, more Robot battles, you can actually play as a pirate now and join their faction, do their missions and such. Unless you are some kind of extreme purist, you should get it.
