I played the vanilla version, which kinda sucked. Got to around level 22-25 before my subscription expired. I was like... 15 or something at the time so I didn't really have enough money to keep buying time cards.

I expect that it's a lot better now, but it's F2P, which means there's P2W or P2A micro-transactions.

Pfff, why TSW is not a single player game? Just deal with it.

24-man raiding is a part of the main quest in AoC. There's some kind of ending for solofags though.

AoC is now f2p - without premium you can't access end-game areas and you have limit on gold/inventory. I'm pretty sure you can finish the solo part of the game without spending a dime.

They did an amazing job recreating all the cultures in the game, seamlesly introducing Cthulhu Mythos, adding a lot of hidden stuff - the atmosphere is just like in original REH stories (sometimes better).

But unless you recognize it and fall in love - you won't get far

P2W - there's some really good beginner gear in the shop, including first PvP set. As soon as you start doing some real content (by going premium), it will become obsolete though.

Tactical retreats FTW.

Hesus, allies' AI is shit. These 3 lost X-wings were fine for the most of the mission, until some Ties lured them close to the enemy frigate -> instarape. Morons.
And nobody was smart enough to kill these fucking Tie-Bomberes, who would rape our freighters within seconds with torpedoes if allowed to.

Anyway, great fucking game, everyone should play it.

You are really going to enjoy Tie Fighter. X-Wing is also a great game but Tie Fighter is amazing.
