Hey guys, it's been a long time since I've played any civ4 fantasy mods so I wanted to ask: which one do you prefer/recommend?
Which one is the better mod? Fall From Heaven 2 or Master of Mana (Xtended 5.6)?

Thanks!

FfH2 (+Naval AI) is a good start and a coherent experience, but has its flaws and way OP stuff (Dwarves for example) - which is fun to find and then trash the opposition with. MoM is more complex and rewards planning and specialisation much more. I didn't play the latest iterations, but also wildlife and barbarians are more interesting in Xt. Also the AI should be better.

FFH2 coupled with Erebus in the Balance or Extramodmod, is a fantastic experience and much better balanced. Both are based on Naval AI, and both were being actively developed up to last year.

A lot of the challenge depends on the difficulty you start and game speed (Marathon offers huge advantage to the player for instance).
