I just discovered that they added the original BS1 version on steam as free DLC for Broken Sword 1 Director's Cut

Original versions is how they should be experienced. Jarringly obvious additions to Director's Cuts, both in art and puzzles, aren't worth the simplifications games went through with some automated puzzles and removal of death scenes. Broken Sword 1 and 2 at least weren't hit as bad as Dracula games, though.

The few dollars price is worth it for Shadowrun: Dragonfall alone. Goat Simulator is a fun distraction, too. I can't speak for the others, though I have at least heard of Chroma Squad and Vanguard Princess.

Chroma Squad is criminally overlooked. Is it perfect? No, but for what it is with the way it mixes Super Sentai and tactical RPG it's pretty damn amazing. You can tell devs really cared about what they were creating.
