Uhhh, but Descent games are already on GOG since November 24 (who the hell release games during sales?).

Delayed release on Steam is bigger news?
whatever

Or an official apology to Parallax, perhaps, since that appears to have been resolved

Descent 1 & 2 were re-released on Steam today. Publisher: Interplay.
That's nice, but when's that big news coming?

Oh, right.

I think that was a given considering the situation: Interplay's ownership of the Descent trademark was never questioned. Herve even tried to pawn it a year ago, but, apparently, no one wanted it

They worked out a deal and it went back on sale - better to make some money than none whatsoever, I'm guessing.

Btw, I just noticed:

God, I hated descent with a passion. I found your ship-thing completely uncontrollable, got nauseous from lurching around and bumping into walls, and completely missed the point of that PoS game. I think it was the game that finally convinced me that I can't play action games and should stick with ones that don't test my reflexes. It's very high up on the worst games I have ever player. Fuck you Herve for bringing back long surpressed memories. :argh:

Merry Christmas to everyone else.

My brain says it'll be an announcement concerning Interplay selling off their remaining intellectual properties and associated assets, but my heart yearns for another Mayan apocalypse funding pitch.

What has happened to this and those guys ?

Herve's living room was not a good place to work so they moved onto other opportunities.

What is this, how do DMs work that we can see his DMs? Some twitter specialists please explain.

You mean Herve spent one dime from his pocket on porting a game that's going to be available for free?
Or is Microsoft (White Wolf?) who actually makes all the work?
