Well, 20 years after fans decided to mod Daikatana to be playable and almost fun. Maybe that'll happen to Star Citizen in 20 or so years. :lol:

By that time, Chris Roberts will be charging fees from people wishing to pass their virtual moon land deeds to their children so the wait for the perfect waifu game will continue.

If I was not able to get into or play Elite Dangerous because I couldn't figure out the controls or have a desire to remap 80 gazillion controls would I have the same issue with this game?

Lets not summon him, as I'll have to continue the tedious usenet discussion about why BC3000AD was shit, whether his PhD was real, and why he's never been able to adequately replicate his early success self-publicity.

My own pet theory as to why he's gone after Chris Roberts so aggressively is that he sees rather too much of himself in Roberts for comfort, and wants to destroy, or at least bury, that aspect of his personality by shitting on Chris's manifest accomplishments at every opportunity. If he turns off the baleful gaze then attention focuses back on himself, and he doesn't really have much to back up his own claims of greatness.

Put them both in a room and lock the door. I'd pay to watch that debate.

They are running out of money really fast,and trying to raise new ones desperately. I wouldn't be surprised if they burn out in the next half a year.
