Nevermind the PF combat, I got that down.

Does anyone have any tips to Kingdom management? I just started and feel a bit lost.
Well focus on fixing the negative effects, remember to spend the time you have wisely, when you travel out, bring enough supplies and stuff so you can complete multiple areas without having to many days pass.

The things that might hurt you the most is that events can spawn at any day. Including the last day of the month. Events "end" at the start of the month so you can be hit by rather negative things there. You dont have to much time to play around remember the trolls are mean and things will get worse very fast if you ignore it.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
"Where are my reviews?" some asked.
If they can't even provide their Kickstarter backers for keys, how are they going to provide keys for reviewers?

The game is already sitting at 100K-200K copies sold on SteamSpy. Feargus...

Need help with a quest!

It has to do with a certain wizard that don't like trolls that much.

I saved him from the troll attack, but something got stolen from him. Now I'm supposed to find it and he marked the location on my map. But I can't find it on the map? And there is no info about it in the journal (that actually happens regulary in this game).

I think it should point you in the direction of the troll base (sw corner) It should be obvious if it do show up as its a "castle" figurine on the map. The reason why i say "i think" is because it did not show anything new for me either... or maybe it showed the lizardfolk village? I have no idea. In either case i got almost all the information at the same time and unlocked both locations *shrugs*

yes plz

it's in the troll fortress, the place where the troll king is hiding. you loot it off a kobold in one of the last areas.

They changed Amiri's stats around (from her iconic character sheet) for some reason.

They swapped her racial str bonus onto con and gave her toughness instead of power attack. I guess to make her more tanky?
That makes her even worse. They should just make her default weapon have a 6ft range.

Unfortunately the Pathfinder ruleset prevents them from doing that. Amiri's giant sword is actually just a large sized bastard sword (humans are medium) which they can't change that because it's canon. And attack range is determined the size of the wielder and by the type of the weapon (most polearms are reach weapons and let you attack at 10ft as a medium size creature), not the size of the weapon itself. While this doesn't make much sense it also doesn't make much of a difference because you can't wield anything bigger than a one-handed weapon that's one category larger than yourself, which is where Amiri is at.

it makes sense.Same when your capital get invaded , its a good idea to do side quests later too. It's as if the game wants you to make tactical choices and prepare your journey, ah those rpg games are really odd things...
I fear by the time I start playing, the devs will have modified Pathfinder: Kingmaker irreparably to cater to whiny bitches with timerphobia and difficulty mode insecurity.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand I can't continue. My kingdom gets destroyed if I rest.
People on steam forums are saying that turning kingdom management to auto will prevent the game from ending. But once turned on, auto kingdom management can't be turned off.
For those that don't believe me. This is a SUCCESSFUL event. It really is the shit "you lose" type.

My trollking killed save is 10 kuthona 4710, with most areas of my level cleared. judging by steam players I was also over-leveled with levels 7 to 8, while people try him on level 6.

wut do you do, skyrim around edges of the map?

I think that the quest is tad bit buggy for me. I looted it but it didn't show in my inventory and can finish it. Alienman will you be kind enough to check how it is called and in what inventory category the item is?

Hi All - As has become my custom, I've refrained from reading threads on games I know I'm going to play so that I come to it fresh and also avoid spoilers, but I have a few questions I'm hoping a helpful soul can answer for me.

1) I was expecting a different game system, but so far as I can tell this Pathfinder system is like circa 3.5 DnD exactly, right down to the "trained to fight giants" bonus for gnomes, with a few minor differences. Is that right?

2) Is there a way to zoom out more? I feel like I'm too close to the ground all the time.

3) Is the Eight-Eyes guy at the Outpost so you can fill your party with custom characters only? Or is hiring from him important and otherwise will go short on companions?

Thanks all

8 eyes is a disappointment.

There's a lot of things if you dig in, feats traits and spells, but you have to look hard. It's almost identical to table top though.

Why... Why we can't have nice things? It's a total pushover now.

Consider that in the original ap the treant-bear wasn't a treant but a (cursed) grizzly bear.
Basically, in this game a LOT of encounter go changed for nearly no reason.
It isn't for no reason. Most of the changes are trying to foreshadow the big bad in book 6. In table top, the bitch comes out of nowhere.
It all makes sense now!
There are three spider swarms and two giants spider instead of a single swarm in the spider cave because the end boss is a
dryad
! That makes sense.
(And this is just an example. There are a lot of 'balance' changes where normal monster got buffed stats, or added adds, which aren't first-world related.

Sorcerer is the classic archetype of that...

Favoured Soul and Spirit Shaman were the Cleric and Druid analogs and came much later.

Then came the classic arcane specialist analogs: Warmage, Dread Necromancer and Beguiler.

All are 3.5. Paizotards would probably find them overpowered and cry munchkin.

Except in pathfinder there is the Oracle which is a spontaneous divine caster. Right now i can't remember if it can use heavy armours, but it's pretty similiar to the favored soul. No idea why it wasn't included, though.
It's also being recognized as a tier weaker than the cleric, in the same way that the sorceror is recognized as a weaker wizard.

Pathfinder is a modified version of 3.5, so yeah, they're pretty similar. I recall it being nicknamed D&D 3.75 early on.

Paizo tried to ride on 3.5's popularity by marketing it as such. At the time, people didn't bother converting other than the few dramafags who cry about how much choice and freedom 3.5 gave people in creating their toons' concepts. When Fucktards of the Coast came up with the ridiculous WoW-on-paper wannabe called 4th Ed, the moniker of 3.75 suddenly took on a whole new urgency and glamour.

However, after the initial full on copy of 3.5 courtesy of the OGL, it seems that Paizo went its own way and created something that is more and more starting to look like what 3.5 eventually become: lots of options, lots of splatbooks, and lots of power creep.
