OK, the forums are now done for the most part. Redirects are in place, the new url convention is HTTPS and no www and that's here to stay, so feel free to update any bookmarks and link lists for faster, no-redirect browsing.

We'll likely do mass replaces on legacy content to make any old embeds HTTPS, but won't be proxying TBs of images that have been posted over the years. Not unless something major changes, anyway. So on pages with non-HTTPS image embeds, you'll still see mixed content warnings and/or will manually have to enable loading of those images, depending on your browser.

Congrats bros for switching to HTTPS and thanks!

Taluntain when I switched another forum to HTTPS, we changed all HTTP embeds to links on the fly and only allowed HTTPS embeds from that point. Worked out quite well.

That's not a bad way to go about it, sure. Though to keep the hundreds of LPs here functional we could just mass replace the http links at least to the most common picture sharing sites.
