Are those normal, unbugged slings that work normally when equipped (including animations)?Level 14 and now I've just found my first regular old helmet item.
Also, a level before I found my first few regular slings.
Interesting itemization there.

How are the "moral" and c&c aspects of the game? Is it rewarding to play the selfish way?

There's more moral and C&C aspects than you can shake a +1 Quarterstaff at. Plenty of opportunity to be selfish and get richer, or reward the people and gain their trust, etc.. Lots of evil/neutral/good options in a lot of situations.

Incredible game.
I haven't had this much fun in an RPG since ELEX, and that was a completely different style of RPG. Between this, ELEX and Persona 5 I'm happy to announce that the drought of shitty RPGs has, for now, been conquered.
Mild criticisms:
* Mild SJWism, but feels Paizo-forced
* Walkspeed could be faster, even unencumbered
* Game shouldn't take 15 seconds to load on my supercomputer with M2 drive
Difficulty: reminiscent of Realms of Arkania 2

Valerie also has at least 2 options
Though most mindblowing is Jaethal.

He has 2 choices in the end: either +2 to WIS/CHA or
ability to assume true form which grants him free greater angelic aura and power to cast maximized heal/fire domain spells for free as well.
