Fast Racing Neo is getting 8 new tracks + some vehicles, music and shit. It's also getting a physical release. Still a Wii U exclusive :(

Do you know if this will have that puzzle mode that Rollcage had... I forgot how it was called... you just had to drive your car through some messed up tracks.
I assume not, but would be nice.

Good news for those who enjoyed Rollcage 2's Scramble Challenges:

We need some more time to implement multiplayer properly, so we need to push the release of the next update back a little bit. Sorry for the delay guys, but it's necessary to create a better game for you to play.

Speaking of which, this extra time gives the non-programmers the opportunity to create some maps for our "new" game mode: Carkour (it's actually a renaming of "Playground")

Hoping to buy a new PC until the end of this year so I can run new games including Grip.

And look what was just announced.

Just bought PSVR and Wipeout Collection with full VR support. It's funny because when I was a kid in late 90s and I thought about what the future of gaming would look like, I imagined playing Wipeout in VR. Can't wait to try it after coming back home from work.
From what I read it doesn't induce much motion sickness and the VR helper options should be turned off with the camera locked in on the pilot so the view moves upside down along with the ship in the cockpit view.

Game turned out awesome.

I'm not a fan of the day 1 DLC though. Fortunately it's just cosmetic stuff but still...

Devs says that more tracks are in the works and that they will be free.

I just did some online racing and that part of the game seems to work fine too.

:greatjob:

The Campaign seems robust, you can create custom tournaments as well.

Full game has many multiplayer options including LAN and Local Split Screen:

This game has excellent track and vehicle design. Going to post screens of the vehicles as I unlock them.

lol at the reviewers complaining about the controls. This is an arcade racer but it's definitely not popamole, you actually have to learn how to drive these vehicles. Also, some of the tracks are very complex and the AI is not retarded.

There appears to be some rubberbanding in the campaign. This can be turned off in custom races and online games so I hope devs patch in the option to disable it in the campaign as well.

I played it a bit, seems cool so far. I like it much more than that supposed Wipeout "spiritual" sequel - Formula Fusion. Though that review has a point about rubber banding and the combat oriented game modes (maybe the arena is more fun in mp, haven't played it online yet). The soundtrack and the whole look and style of GRIP is also cool AF.

There be pirates or maybe they're just uninspired codexers

Would be even funnier if they had picked the Bandit car.

The devs have done fine job optimizing the game. Works flawlessly on max graphics. The game feels almost exactly like Rollcage 2.

One question though: is it possible to create a multiplayer tournament with multiple races and persistent stats? I've only seen single race multiplayer games.

Also, we need to establish an official Codex private game ASAP.

Feel free to add me on Steam Shaewaroz and others who want to play GRIP.

So what's your user ID on Steam? Mine is Shaewaros. Anyone wanting to MP Grip is welcome to friend. Gotta go to sleep now though, early to work and will login after maybe 16 hours.

EDIT: We had some pretty good games today. Anyone interested for MP games, feel free to contact either one of us. I'm really bad and Astral Rag is really good, so for you it's going to be like playing Easy and Hand difficulty at the same time.
