Just Cause 3 was a 20 dollars, 4 hours game, copy pasted, copy pasted and copy pasted some more to justify that 60 dollars price. I really enjoyed the basic gameplay of the game but it was padded out to absurd and insulting levels. Any game developer that has the courage to present "Hey, how about you destroy the same base you destroyed before but now without enemies, will be fun right?" as a side activity doesn't deserve 60 dollars for their game, it was insulting.

The army mechanic seems kinda interesting but I didn't see any proof than this isn't a Just Cause 3 reskinned and the map size only adds to the boredom of moving on this giant and empty map based on my experience of Just Cause 3. Only interested if they allow complete destruction (On just cause games, you can only destroy targets that are painted in red, you can't blow up buildings, what is fucking awful on a game about blowing up stuff) , all those cool environmental effects are for nothing without that and they need to add side activities that are actually fun (On just cause 3, good luck if you are tired of destroying bases because it is flying inside floating rings and destroying the same bases without enemies for you).

Glad someone finally brought this up. This was one of my biggest gripes. Red Faction Guerrilla executed destructible buildings almost perfectly; don't know why no one else has attempted to do so other than DICE with their Frostbite engine. And let's not forget RFG was released almost 10 fucking years ago.

JC 3 was boring, but this will be more like JC 2, meaning instead of going from point A to B and doing missions like in every other GTA type game, you can just go wherever you want literally and blow stuff up taking over the map with the army.

The war stuff sounds like it will be the highlight of the game

That's why you buy it for 10 dollars while it's on sale :keepmyjewgold:

This looks like another big AAA flop this year. Steam review score is at 34%, and the launch day player peak is only 9K (compared to the third games' 23K).

I actually D1P'd it and I think it's a lot of fun but the low review scores are understandable because there are a lot of weird graphical issues right now - extremely close range texture pop-ins, sometimes closing the world map makes everything look very blurred and featureless for a few seconds, objects in the distance are very hazy, etc. Most of the negative reviews I read were criticizing the graphics and glitches.

If you look past this, the game's still the fun and nonsensical Michael Bay/Bollywood sandbox simulator it always was, but asking people to look past very glaring graphical problems in a game from a relatively big company is asking too much.
