First PC gamer voted rpg of the year banal, bland, boring Pillars of Eternity 2, which is maybe OK (it has some fans, one of a kind).


But now Gamespot tells that Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of An Elusive Age is best rpg. Who heard of this shit, seriously?

DQ 1, 2 and 3's MC(it's not the same) are all 16 years old.
DQ 4's MC is 18 years old.
DQ 5's MC starts at 4 years old, then 16 years old and then 24 years old with 2 sons in his party.
DQ 6's MC is 17 years old.
DQ 7's MC is 17 years old.
DQ 8's MC is 20 years old.
DQ 11's MC is 16 years old.
9 doesn't say his age and 10 is an MMO.
Since they are all mute character(because they are supposed to be the player), none of them is a emo teen fag. People that never played DQ usually says bullshit like Roqua saying only the first couple DQ you don't play as a kid(which funny enough has 16 years old compared to all the others MC) or emo teen fag(none of them satisfy this point). This is a serie where if you play one game, you already know what to expect from the rest. It's a series made for people that love DQ, not for people that love JRPG or anything like that, because they don't try bullshits like pantsu quest or anything like that.
It's a series true to its root and also the best JRPG out there. It's far from being a hard game(then again, all jrpg are easy) and also quite linear(in the sense of C&C related to dialogues doesn't exist), but it's still a fantastic series.

Apparently people forgot Kingdom Come Deliverance even exists because it was released in February, or maybe they just don't want to give the award to Vavra


DQ11's combat is a bore and a charming JRPG that hews to pretty much all the JRPG tropes doesn't make the resident sleeper combat interesting after the first 100 hours.

so you're saying dragon quest will remain successful enough to put out sequels while beamdog 2.0 releases kingdom come deliverance enhanced edition and teases kcd2 but just adds in trannies and ports the first game to android instead?
