Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Bubbles In Memoria
For me there's actually many somewhat promising tacticool titles coming in next year.
There's End State (probably just for early access), Phantom Brigade, Phoenix Point, The Feud, Fae Tactics, Pathway and Fell Seal.

Streets of Rogue is somewhat promising action rogue-lite.

Then there is Nowhere Prophet that looked like interesting mix of FTL and card game.

Anything else interesting (presumably) coming releases for 2019?

edit.
On RPG side i have some hope for Stygian and Copper Dreams.

Then not on Steam (yet):
-NIOH 2
-nuDOOM 2
-Mario Odissey (yes it's from 2017, but by next year the Switch emulator will be good enough to play it)

Spelunky can spelunk my nuts.

As for 2019 I'm pretty sure we'll see a wholesale implosion of civilisation, the plummet of economies, the rise of sea levels, the extinction of diction, as well as a cautiously optimistic update from Taleworlds. The fuckers.

This year was completely shit until now ... with the exception of Sekiro.

Risk of Rain 2, Pathway and now Mordhau were/are all subpar games.

I'm honestly afraid of trying Fell Seal and the only decent options remaining are some adventure games: Whispers of a Machine and Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders :|

Underrail DLC and The Sinking City are probably my most wanted games.

John Romero's new Doom episode Sigil

Deadstick - Bush Flight Simulator

I am curious about Rage 2, it looks so retarded it could be a wholesome fun.
Three games I was looking forward to got delayed to 2020 (Outer Worlds, Control, Sinking City).
And I hope no more good games come out because I would really like to be able to catch up with the backlog and clear it up a bit.
