Well, at best I was expecting an enjoyable, not great game that is badly named. No clear idea yet if it's that, but demo did seem playable. I am going to try out the overseas version to make up my mind.

They made the gas station part playable (it was a cinematic in the original) + there is a trek to the police station. But there's no Kendo Shop or entering a bus, probably because there is going to be a second travel through the city like it was intended in the original game to access the labs (and I'm pretty sure we will see the bus and Kendo in this part, or else I'll be mad!). I have zero proof that it's going to be this way, but it's what I believe since they already made a bunch of things that were canceled in the original game, or were in the 1.5 version a got removed (like blocking the windows).I was so hype for this but now it all sounds fucking awful.
Why would they do a remake if they're going to change so much iconic shit, like the music and the trek through the city in the beginning? It's a classic fucking opening scene for crying out loud.

Without spoiling too much, you do indeed end up revisiting some old familiar city locations after the police station.
