They probably don't have the resources for a big open world game like GTA. Though I wish to see the day and sunlight actually playing a part in game mechanics. With the tech we have today such feature should be in, when Jack told me about daytime in Bloodlines I legitimately thought that would mean that I should be wary about by doing whatever I am supposed to do in time and go back in my place and sleep till it's nighttime. Though if the devs can't find a way not to make this a frustrating feature I feel like that it's better left nighttime only. Still it would be kinda cool.

Redemption has a daytime mission and I have mixed feelings. It's great that it was only 1 after you become a vampire, the constant night is a big part of the overall atmosphere in a vampire game. You also had to think about taking cover and such, but it was more like a "don't paint outside the lines" thing and I found it a little bit pointless.

I'd absolutely love to have another proper GTA. I'd even take a second San Andreas or Vice City.

Now imagine that in a gritty, nighttime VtM setting. Easy to picture, right?

idk, what you're proposing sounds more like a sandbox than an rpg.

Sandbox elements (side activities) but pushed forward by story quests. Have you played a GTA game to understand how they work with quests and missions?

A legion of faceless ghouls vs Heather. I think we know who the clear winner is.

You're joking. You really don't have this little of an imagination. Here, I'll break it down for you, something I came up with in 10 seconds.

There are 7 pregenerated ghouls with small side stories and cell phone banter, i.e. like Knox Harrington. Then there is one main story ghoul who becomes your beloved pet. The pregenerated ghouls could have deeper Tender interactions, while Tender also has several generated people who respond with "eww stop msging me" and stuff like that. You'd have to find and complete the small side arcs to get the "real" ghouls to join you, while still having a main waifu who is more developed. You could do GTA style things like commanding your other ghouls to find you stuff at the risk of getting them injured or the law on their trail. Easy. The faceless ghouls as you say would have cell phone banter as I mentioned. Occasionally you'd get a text fitting their personality that says something like, "Hey chief, just dropped off a blood pack at your place on Lacroix Ave. Keep rocking dude!" or "Hey baby, can't wait until I see you again, I left a little something at your place on Madison that I think you'll like <3 *kiss emoji*". Doesn't impact having a main waifu who has real story content.

Yup. Easy enough, I wouldn't mind a Vampire GTA with added RPG elements.

That's what I'm saying man. We haven't seen something like that yet. As cool as the GTA games were they had little to no RPG elements. If we could get a Vampire GTA with real RPG elements, character development via pen and paper implementation, dialogue with options and branches, etc., it would be a dream game.

My team has the sexiest and deadliest waifus you can recruit.
And somehow this GTAV nonsense doesn't end up getting split out into another thread. Quick. Someone say something blatantly racist and/or sexist.

Where is your god now, Infinitron?!?

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I don't know much about the lore of this setting, but after reading that post about Dracon and the Tzimisce; there's some real room here for some interesting, peverse, sexual stuff. Technically it should be right up Sweden's alley. But then again we'd probably bet better off with a porno made by a bunch of nuns.

It is a weird way to promote the game and I don't expect anything good from people who came up with this idea. Thankfully, I still haven't played Redemption...

I agree, Old Clan Tzimizce and Vicissitude are really interesting, if the Tzimizce is highly skilled in it, it can even give pleasure to who you body shape.

I remember there was a crappy vampire FMV game back in the day that gave you a game over if you launched it during the day, lol

Paradox themselves have only ever made strategy games. They've published some stuff, ie Pillars 1 and Tyranny, but never made an RPG in-house

Brian Mitsoda has expressed couple of times that he's super down with a sequel and even had an idea of a spiritual successor at some point.
If Paradox really wanted to appeal to the VTMB crowd, it shouldn't be hard to get him on board. Also, it doesn't need to be big at all. Something in the scope of the The Outer Worlds or even smaller can be enough.

Please :negative::negative:.

Dead State and his greenlighting of Panic at Whatever High make a strong case that the guy's over the hill and won't write anything decent. Oh sure, there was Oom from Numenera, but that wasn't exactly brilliant writing.
