I played enderal back when it was released... about 2 years ago or so? Is this one on steam the same as the one from 2 years ago or did they change a lot?

They patched a lot of bugs, crashes and improved balncing, added asecret ending, 2 new guilds with their own quest lines. And yes Enderal is really good , deep story, challenging combat, beautiful soundtrack.

I remember enjoying it more than skyrim, but I ultimately didn't finish it because of the skyrim engine; the mod wasn't able to change the core of the combat, or even some core mechanics.
Do you need skyrim on steam to play it or can you play it for free?

People complain about it being repetitive, especially the battle music, but I've always loved how much music for the Genesis Countdown to Doomsday adds to the game.

I really want to like spellforce 3 but I find I don't have any fucking control over my dudes. They run off in all directions all the time chasing shit and getting into trouble, and the combat happens so quickly that its over before I can even give someone an order...or if I give an order it all happens so fast its impossible to tell if what I did had any actual positive or negative result. Doing nothing seems to work just about as well as trying to control the guys. It just seems too hectic, and I am fine with real time combat like in infinity engine or pathfinder
