When can we have custom avatars?

Grab the Codex by the pussy
There were custom avatars when I first registered, but they were eliminated, no doubt to save a few bucks on storage and hosting costs and/or ensure that staff don't have to deal with potential inappropriate or illegal avatars.

At the time, the Codex began accepting submissions for RPG- and classics-related avatar galleries. I formatted a bunch of Psygnosis box art in Photoshop and submitted a gallery's worth so that I could retain access to my current avatar.

Rex has a lot of faults but this was one of his best posts and needs to be saved for posterity:

I don't want to see this place polluted with pictures of Tomb Raider, Bloodrayne, any anime character, Britney Spears, some hot model, some dumbass picture of your kid, some dumbass picture of you making a stupid face, some dumbass picture of you looking 'cool', some dumbass picture of your fat and ugly girlfriend, some dumbass picture you found on the internet that you apparently found funny, or some dumbass screencap from a movie that you found to be 'memorable'.

Case in point, OP has an animu avatar. Imagine my shock. The no-custom avatar rule was made for a reason.

This place is already pretty degenerate anyway, so i doubt custom avatars would change much. Not saying the artwork here or the avatars are bad, it's just that waves of euphoria would wash me over if had the ability to get a custom avatar.

All and all, there seems to be some good reasons as to why the site doesn't have custom avatars, so it's whatever.

list?

in Deus ex, the Baton is used for stealthy, non-lethal takedowns, whereas the PROD is reserved for stunning alerted enemies. They are the corner stone of any non-lethal loadout (as well as the crossbow and pepper spray).

ALSO, because i was bored and dull of the avatars, i randomly browsed the games and chose the one i have.

She doesn't look too bad.

WTF, why can't I have my own custom avatar? That kinda pisses me off.
